Yuletide is coming! We hope to reveal the stories from this year's challenge on 25 December at 9am UTC.

We also hope everyone enjoys their gifts! It's important to comment on your gift (or gifts) to thank your author for writing it.

This post is so that if you don't think you'll be able to comment until late in the anonymous period (ending 1 January) or maybe not even until the new year, you can let your author(s) know ahead of time and save them from worrying. You don't need to give a reason, but an approximate time indication may be helpful. Please include your AO3 name.

We hope your late December and early January are peaceful and happy.

For now: Happy writing! Default deadline is in two days at 9am UTC 11 December, and the deadline is exactly one week later! Beta volunteers are very welcome HERE!

Yuletide stories will reveal (if all goes well) at 9am UTC on 25 December.

However, it's also a busy time of year for many people. If you want to let your author know that you won't be around for the first several days after the works go live, or for the whole of the anon period, you can comment comment here or on LJ to reassure them that you'll read your gift(s) soon.
