We hope everyone enjoys their gifts! Part of Yuletide is also commenting on your gift to thank your author for writing it.

However, it's also a busy time of year for many people - and especially this year. If you want to let your author know that you won't be around until late in the anon period, or after the New Year, you can comment here to let your author know when you expect to be able to read your gift.

I'm Doranwen on AO3, and I'm moving two days before Christmas, into a house in the country where the Internet probably won't be properly set up till just about Christmas Day - if I'm fortunate and don't run into any snags working on it, lol. Might all work out perfectly, but on the other hand, there's the off chance that something goes terribly wrong. So if you don't hear from me right away, please do not fear! I always comment on my gifts and will do so as soon as I can. :)

Reveals are in the middle of the night for me which means I wake up to my story! I tend to comment fast, but I really want to be very awake and alert when I read my story, and also I have some things to attend to that day, so it may be a little bit before my brain is online enough to actually leave the comment I *want* to leave. (I'm roguefaerie on ao3). Plenty of time, many fewer spoons.
