Hello, I hope it's okay to advertise this here! After an amazing showing for the fandom at Yuletide this year, we're running a fic exchange centred on Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell.

Participants will be writing a fic of minimum 1,000 words. There are a minimum of 4 offers and 4 requests in three categories: a character, a ship, and worldbuilding. Sign-ups are open now and close in one week on Friday 4 April (at 9pm UTC). Assignments are due on 13 June.

Hi Yuletiders! It just occurred to me that this might interest some Yuletide folks...

holmestice is a long-running fanworks exchange for the Sherlock Holmes fandom(s). Yes, that includes juggernaut fandoms such as the original Arthur Conan Doyle stories and the BBC Sherlock TV show...but it also includes Holmesian fandoms that range from rare to obscure to vanishingly unknown! If it's a version of Sherlock Holmes, we want it at Holmestice. :-)
