Yuletide is full of rare and small fandoms, but is your canon so rare its fandom is currently...non-existent? [Insert Twilight Zone Theme] Welcome to Yule Be First.

How does it work?

• Yule Be First is a mini-challenge highlighting canons, pairings, or character(s) which currently have no works created for them on AO3. They may or may not even have a tag! 
• If your requested canon, pairing, or character fits that criteria, comment on this post so that those looking to be the first!1!!1! to create for it can give it a go.
• Add participation to the app so that anyone browsing will know that you're signed up for this challenge!
• Even if your recipient hasn't signed up for this mini-challenge, tag applicable works with Yule Be First so that interested parties can find them! This will be especially useful if the canon, pairing, or character tag hasn't been wrangled by the time the collection opens.

Extensions/Defaulting: As always...get your packages out as early as you can! Holiday post is slow always and we expect will be extra slow (again) this year. However, should you need an extension for any reason, please email us as soon as you realize it is a possibility AND INCLUDE A REQUESTED TIMEFRAME. We almost always grant small extensions, especially to historically reliable swappers, without feeling like a pinch-hitter is needed.

And, of course, if you need to default for any reason, please, please email us. Communication is everything! Life happens! Just let us know. (It's silently disappearing that will get you banned.)
