Writing meetups!

Might be jumping the gun a bit, but here's a post on which to organize meetups!

Comment here with your location and whether you want to organize or just attend a writing meetup.

I'm in the Boston area, and would like to organize a ~bi-weekly writing-and-coffee/tea meet-up. Likely in Cambridge, flexible to Somerville/Watertown/Boston proper/etc, depending on what people want.

would anyone be interested in a Santa Monica meetup? It has a lot of buses and has that new expo train line.

I didn't realize the Expo Line was such a good option. I'd definitely be interested.

Yeah, something via transit there would be great! :)

I like Santa Monica, but every coffee shop I've been to there is the size of a postage stamp. Any suggestions on where we should go that has multiple outlets and that will let a group sit for a few hours?

18th Street Coffee House is spacious. The Coffee Bean on wilshire is also a good option.

Thanks! We'll have to do one of those next.
