We're in ur yuletide, queering ur canons.

There are many ways of queering texts and characters. This challenge is for any and all of them! The widest possible definition of queering is used here. If you think your prompt counts, then do so we. Check the first comment for an example of queering a text; everyone is welcome to add on more examples there, too.

Note: in fics that overlap with TransTide, both simonlorden and I encourage you to tag both.

Fandom 1: Inspector Koo
Any specific fandom details, preferences, comments, etc: give Koo a female partner? She's got a lot of queer energy in more than one sense of the word, so (considering her dead husband) I headcanon her as bi and want her to be happy.

Fandom 2: Wolfwalkers
Any specific fandom details, preferences, comments, etc: make the first-crush vibes between Robyn and Mebh text rather than subtext? They're already outside normal society, so let them grow up a little and realise they're queer as well.

Fandom 3: Watersnakes (Graphic Novel)
Any specific fandom details, preferences, comments, etc: a fix-it for the way the central relationship is handled in the canon, or some post-canon shippy fic? Horror, adventure, lesbians?

Fandom 4: Beyond Evil
Any specific fandom details, preferences, comments, etc: again, make the subtext text! Let Dongsik and Juwon heal and pursue a relationship with each other now that everything *gestures vaguely at canon* is over.
