Make The Yuletide Gay!
Hello Yuletiders! I've got a new mini-challenge for you: Make the Yuletide Gay
The purpose of this challenge is to help those of us who like canon f/f & m/m couples to find one another's requests and to increase the amount of canon m/m & f/f in the collection!
Canon certainly encompasses a lot of things and everyone has their own definition. Depending on the culture, era, and level of censorship in which your canon was made, one level of canon might be more explicit than another. There's also the case of Word of God, one-night-stands, exes, and one-sided relationships to factor in!
For the purposes of this post, all that is asked is that you list your canon ships in good faith. If you see that someone's request isn't what you'd consider to be canon, please keep looking for someone else that does have what you're looking for rather than debating it.
How does it work?
Since this mini-challenge is all about writing for as many canon gay ships as possible, it only makes sense that we try to make a comprehensive directory of all the canon m/m and f/f ships requested this Yuletide! Fill out the form here with any and all canon f/f & m/m ships that you've seen requested this year. The responses will serve as a filterable and searchable directory.

How does it work?
- List your Ao3 name, a link to your letter, and specify what canon f/f and/or m/m ships you're requesting, as well as any specific prompts you may have for them. If you have the time/inclination to do a little promo post/primer on your canon ship(s), do it!
- Look through the comments and see if there are any canons you know or would like to get into!
- Tag your any canon m/m or f/f fics you write this year with "Make The Yuletide Gay" so other people can find them when the collection opens!

Re: Missing Canons
Simon Feximal Series - K. J. Charles (Robert Caldwell/Simon Feximal)
Lilywhite Boys Series - K. J. Charles (Miss Christiana (Lilywhite Boys)/Stan Kamarzyn - this one is asexual romance with a trans woman and a cis man, I don't know if it would fall under your purview - and Alexander "Alec" Pyne-ffoulkes/Jerry Crozier)
The Price of Meat - K. J. Charles (Arabella Wilmot/Johanna Oakley. I know there's an m/m pairing in there as well, but I don't remember which characters are involved)
A Charm of Magpies Series - K. J. Charles (Ben Spenser/Jonah Pastern, Lucien Vaudrey/Stephen Day)
Sins of the Cities Series - K. J. Charles (Clem Talleyfer/Rowley Green, Justin Lazarus/Nathaniel Roy, Mark Braglewicz/Pen Starling - Pen is genderqueer)
Society of Gentlemen - K. J. Charles (Julius Norreys/Harry Vane, Gabriel Ashley/Francis Webster, Silas Mason/Dominic Frey, Richard Vane/David Cyprian)
Green Men Series - K. J. Charles (Randolph Glyde/Saul Lazenby)
Band Sinister - K. J. Charles (this one is a little tricky because the characters are poly, so there's a variety of canon combinations, but I would say the "main" ones are Guy Frisby/Philip Rookwood and Philip Rookwood/John Raven/Lord Corvin)
England Series - K. J. Charles (Daniel da Silva/Archie Curtis, Fenella Carruth/Patricia Merton)
Also I forgot to mention it above, but for Lynes and Mathey Series - Amy Griswold & Melissa Scott, Julian Lynes/Ned Mathey is a canon gay pairing.

(sorry, wait, I just realized those might not be your requests, and the new one is request-specific because spreadsheets, never mind me)
Re: Missing Canons
Henchmen of Zenda - Jasper Detchard/Rupert of Hentzau (not sure anyone requested this?)
The Price of Meat - Mark Ingestrie/Elias Jeffery
Green Men Series - Hugh Barnaby/Max Isaacs (I believe the author said that the third book is going to be a romance between them, not sure if that makes it canon?)
Could you also add:
False Colors - Alex Beecroft - John Cavendish/Alfie Donwell
Thank you!
