The hesitation in those last two is, do I want Alessandretta (including the femslash possibilities of Marfisa) or do I want wuxia on Alcina's island and the nearby mainland, which are Japan and China? Hmmm.

KJ Charles - Henchmen of Zenda?

I may be nominating The Henchmen of Zenda, though I haven't decided for sure yet. If I do nominate it, I want to nominate Rupert Hentzau's mother, and of course would be happy to fill in any other characters people want.

I was determined to sit Yuletide out this year due to exchange fatigue, but seeing the comments reminded me how much I love tiny fandoms. It got me thinking I might nominate:

Ooh! If you do end up nominating A Countess Below Stairs, I would love if you'd be willing to add Olive Byrne and Peter Grazinsky (the younger, I'm not entirely sure how to specify that in a character tag) to the nomination! I had a reread earlier this year and ended up with a craving for fic about what happens to the kids.

I'm debating among several others including the two Tamsin House books by Charles de Lint or his Newford series, with the main characters there being the Crow Girls.

I admit I hope someone else will nominate Ladyhawke or one of the others because I also really want to nominate The Man from Earth movie.

I am probably nominating the Tom Corbett series by Carey Rockwell, the ridiculous 50s sci fi series of my heart, with Tom Corbett, Roger Manning, Astro, and Captain Strong as the characters, though I could be convinced to swap out Captain Strong. Also, White Boots/Skating Shoes by Noel Streatfeild with Harriet Johnson and Lalla Moore.

Still not sure about my third nomination! Depending on what other people are nominating for Killjoys I may add some characters onto that, though I'm rather enjoying my kids' book theme.

Or if I do end up nominating either/both of them myself, I'd be happy to fill out my remaining character slots with any characters others are interested in. Basically, if you're interested in these or other characters from either source, I'm interested in talking with you about possible coordination. :-)
