Unconventionyule
Unconventionyule is a mini-challenge to help people who like unconventional formats find one another's requests, whether that’s poetry, epistolary, spreadsheets, social media, puzzles, or other unusual mediums. Please remember that works in the main collection must still be at least 1000 words, but shorter works can be submitted to the Madness collection!

Requested Fandom: Magus of the Library
Format(s): In-universe fiction (i.e. books read in the setting), in-universe library training materials or literary criticism
(Optional) Prompts: The manga includes references to numerous books written in-universe, such as The Adventures of Shagrazzat or Mulligad, the Seven Seminal Scripts that founded entire cultures, and numerous works of pop fiction -- a chapter from one of them would be good; a chapter with associated literary commentary, librarian annotations, arguments about translation nuances, or debates about whether it should be censored is even better. The manga is about magical librarians training in a fantasy world, so their training materials and syllabi would also be interesting.
Requested Fandom: The Guy She Was Interested In Wasn't a Guy at All
Format(s): Music, mixtapes/playlists, music videos
(Optional) Prompts: The music that Mitsuki and Aya love is very much at the core of the manga. Providing songs or a playlist that tell a story, or provide a soundtrack to the story you write, would really fit well. An original song or homemade music video would be amazing, though probably a lot to ask.
Requested Fandom: Blue Prince
Format(s): University syllabi or textbooks, architectural magazines, interactive fiction or other games
(Optional) Prompts: 'Architectural drafting' is a science in the setting that allows the creation of buildings with rooms that shift around or vanish temporarily from existence, and which can be transformed into portable blueprints and installed in other buildings. There are colleges that teach the science, and their instructional texts would be fascinating to see, including technobabble explanations, the history of the science, or catalogs of other buildings using the technique other than the one seen in the game. More issues of the canonical magazine discussing the science would be similarly interesting. On a different angle, interactive fiction (or another sort of game) might be an interesting way to explore a building made that way, possibly from the point of view of a character who was involved in a fight against a fascist regime and had her own brushes with the science.
