Unconventionyule is a mini-challenge to help people who like unconventional formats find one another's requests, whether that’s poetry, epistolary, spreadsheets, social media, puzzles, or other unusual mediums. Please remember that works in the main collection must still be at least 1000 words, but shorter works can be submitted to the Madness collection!

Requested Fandoms: Mossa & Pleiti series - Malka Older, The Incandescent - Emily Tesh, Rolling in the Deep Series - Mira Grant, North of North (TV)
Format(s): Epistolary, academic articles, interviews, social media (Reddit, Twitter, Tumblr), mythology/fairy tales.
Prompts:
- I am interested in worldbuilding for the book canons in the form of especially academic articles.
- For the two contemporary-set book canons (The Incandescent and Rolling in the Deep), social media would also be super interesting.
- Letters between any of the characters would also work for me! This seems especially suited to Mossa and Pleiti IMO but also Nikki and Saffy from The Incandescent.
- Siaja (North of North) writes letters to Bun or her mom reflecting on various things.
- For Rolling in the Deep, utilizing mermaid myths to structure the story.
