Chromatic Yuletide 2025
Chromatic Yuletide is a collection post for Yuletide requests that include characters of colour. Posting here doesn't obligate you to do anything, but it helps writers find your requests and treat you.
Posting requirements:
Your request centers around at least one character of colour.
(I acknowledge there are some shortcomings with the "person of colour" descriptor. I'm also not going to police who is or isn't a character of colour; please just use your best judgment.)

Fandom: Alexa & Katie
Characters: Alexa Mendoza
What is it? A Netflix show about Alexa---a ninth grader who gets diagnosed with leukemia prior to the start of the show---and Katie, her best friend and next door neighbour.
What kind of thing am I requesting? Any scene that they didn't show---notably, the seasons went by school year and didn't show anything in-between.

Characters: Zoe Rivas, Grace Cardinal, Lola Pacini
What is it? A Netflix-acquired Degrassi sequel to Degrassi the Next Generation, which I also requested.
What kind of thing am I requesting? With Zoe & Grace: anything that follows up on the idea that they might have been into each other (and, honestly, they totally should have been), with Lola: really anything but specifically her slowly falling in love with Yael after their transition and coming to terms with her sexuality

Characters: Christina (she's not described as someone of colour in the books (or much at all in terms of appearance) but she's explicitly so in the movies, so I'm including it here)
What is it? A trilogy of novels about a futuristic dystopian Chicago.
What kind of thing am I requesting? her past and her future. we know she has a little sister named Rose, and that her parents are alive, and that she was from Candor, and that might be about it.
