Chromatic Yuletide is a collection post for Yuletide requests that include characters of colour. Posting here doesn't obligate you to do anything, but it helps writers find your requests and treat you.

Posting requirements:

Your request centers around at least one character of colour.

(I acknowledge there are some shortcomings with the "person of colour" descriptor. I'm also not going to police who is or isn't a character of colour; please just use your best judgment.)

What kind of thing am I requesting? Character study, potential for queerness, humor, Siaja being embedded in her hometown, family, and culture.

Fandom: 2020s Pop Music RPF
Characters: Towa Bird
What is it? Towa Bird & Renee Rapp are insanely hot lesbians in a publicly messy relationship. What else could a girl want?
What kind of thing am I requesting? Humor, H/C, smut.

Fandom: Little Mix RPF
Characters: Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock
What is it? Well. Girl group RPF.
What kind of thing am I requesting? Character studies, H/C.

Fandom: Mossa & Pleiti series - Malka Older
Characters: Mossa & Pleiti (I'm not sure if they are explicitly described as characters of colour but that's certainly how I pictured them!)
What is it? A Sherlock-inspired sapphic mystery steampunk-ish novella set on a society living on a gas giant planet.
What kind of thing am I requesting? More of their relationship, exploring the world of the books.

Fandom: The Incandescent - Emily Tesh
Characters: Aneeta Shah and Nikki Conway
What is it? Adult urban fantasy novel set in a British boarding school; Aneeta and Nikki are not the POV characters but lowkey I think the book would have been more interesting if they were.
What kind of thing am I requesting? Nikki and Aneeta POV, post-canon, crossovers with other urban fantasy.

Fandom: Rolling in the Deep series - Mira Grant
Characters: Jillian Toth
What is it? Mermaid horror centred around academic research on a cruise ship.
What kind of thing am I requesting? Jillian's research, post-canon, exploring the world through her eyes.
