Siblings Mini-Challenge: Family Matters 2025
What is Family Matters?
Unrelated to the sitcom (or anything else, actually), Family Matters is a mini challenge focused on sibling relationships. Whether that be traditional, half, foster/adoptive, or step siblings, siblings of all kinds are welcome. For the purposes of this mini challenge, I am excluding found family (unless there are sibling relationships within) and “I see them as a sibling” relationships (unless, of course, that statement is meant to be literal.) As I won’t be policing anything, please use your best interest and feel free to ask me any questions in the comments.
What about incest?
This is NOT the incest mini challenge. Someone made one last year and I'm hoping, for all interested, that it's continues on. However, nothing and no one is stopping you from signing up to both if that’s what you want.
What if [character]’s sibling isn’t in the tagset?
Good news! As long as at least one sibling is in the tagset (and you’re requesting them), this won’t be a problem.

Fandom & Requested Characters + Their Siblings: The Last Binding Series - Freya Marske: Robin & Maud Blythe, Adelaide Morrissey & Kitty Kaur (I didn't request), Violet Debenham & her sisters (not in tagset)
Prompts (optional): These are three really different sibling relationships, but I'd love something that explores the unique dynamics of any of them: Robin & Maud's closeness and trust, Adelaide & Kitty's friendship despite their differences, Violet's relationship with the sisters she her believes that she abandoned. More specific prompts in my letter.

Prompts (optional): I have wildly different requests for these pairs of siblings. I'd love to see Fanny & William supporting each other and learning to be friends after being apart for so long. I'd love to see Mary & Henry being A Little Bit Evil but in a fun way (or Mary confronting Henry for being a terrible human being). More specific prompts in my letter.
Any Other Details: General DNWs in my letter. For this fandom, I don't want fic that presents Fanny/Henry or Fanny/Edmund as a healthy and positive ship.
Fandom & Requested Characters + Their Siblings: Roaring Twenties Magic - Allie Therin: Jade Robbins & Stella Robbins (not in tagset) & Benson Robbins (not in tagset), Sebastian de Leon & Mateo de Leon (not in tagset) & Isabel de Leon (not in tagset)
Prompts (optional): I would love to see more of how the Robbins family set up their speakeasy and how they work together when Jade isn't off stopping magical disasters. Sebastian's relationship with his family is so beautiful and so complicated, and I'd love to see more, including his closeness with Isabel even though they're cousins rather than siblings. More specific prompts in my letter.
Any Other Details: General DNWS in my letter. For this fandom, I do not want non-canon ships, high school AUs, or an unhappy ending.
Fandom & Requested Characters + Their Siblings: Kings (TV 2009): Jack Benjamin & Michelle Benjamin, David Shepherd & his brothers (not in tagset)
Prompts (optional): Jack & Michelle have been raised in a environment that pits them against each other, and their different responses to David's arrival only make it more complicated. I'd love to see the two of them dealing with those dynamics. David, on the other hand, cares about his brothers, but has a very different life than they do. How do they handle that tension? You can use Ethan Shepherd, since he was in the show, or any of David's other brothers. More specific prompts in my letter.
Any Other Details: General DNWs in my letter. For this fandom, I do not want AUs, but canon divergence is fine. For a treat, I am fine with fics that deal with Michelle's pregnancy.
