Yuletide Nomination Coordination Station 2022
WARNING: This Is Not Where You Nominate, Only Coordinate
This post is where people declare what they have nominated, or ask other people to nominate for them. So if you do comment and/or add your nominations to the spreadsheet, that's great, because it helps other people decide what to nominate, but it WILL NOT result in your fandoms or characters being in the tagset. The only place to nominate is the Yuletide tagset.Use the comments on this post and the coordination Google spreadsheet to coordinate nominations with others.
- For information about nominating fandoms and characters, what is eligible for nomination, and other important links and announcements, refer to
yuletide_admin.
- Nominations run Mon 19 Sept to Thurs 29 Sept. Nominations will be approved after that.
- Before tags are approved (after 29 September), you can only see your own nominations.
- You can nominate up to 3 fandoms and up to 4 characters in each fandom.
Please copy and paste the following information to comment on this post. Every item is optional except fandom.
- A nomination is something you plan to nominate. A request is something you're hoping someone else will nominate for you, because you ran out of slots.
- View and edit the google sheet here: Yuletide 2022 Nomination Coordination Station.
- If you can add your information to the spreadsheet yourself, please do! That would really help. PLEASE DO NOT SORT THE SHEET. If you want to view the list by nominated fandoms, use the autogenerated "sort by fandom" tabs.
- During the nomination period, the spreadsheet will get re-sorted by username daily at 6PM GMT (find your local time), to keep the data tidier.
Help Wanted
If you have a few minutes and enjoy a bit of data entry, please volunteer to update the spreadsheet with information the comments in this post! If you do, add the data from the comment to the spreadsheet and reply to the original comment with Added to spreadsheet.

did you add this to the spreadsheet already?: No
nomination OR request?: Nomination
fandom: Asterix the Gaul (comics)
character 1: Asterix
character 2: Obelix
character 3: Cleopatra OR Getafix
character 4: Julius Caesar OR Cacofonix
notes: I'm still a bit torn about the last two spots, and I'm hoping to hear from others who might be considering to nominate this fandom.
did you add this to the spreadsheet already?: No
nomination OR request?: Nomination
fandom: Tintin (comics)
character 1: Tintin
character 2: Captain Haddock
character 3: Piotr Szut (Skut)
character 4: Tchang Tchong-Jen
notes: I have no requests for other characters, if there are any you'd like to nominate, go ahead! :)
did you add this to the spreadsheet already?: No
nomination OR request?: Nomination
fandom: Cycling RPF
character 1: Domenico Pozzovivo
character 2: Vincenzo Nibali
character 3: Giovanni Visconti
character 4: ?? (There are a couple of candidates, but they have to be considered carefully)
notes: Might be "21st Century Cycling RPF", I'm not sure. I made a comment about my thoughts on the tags here in the RPF Nominations Coordination Post. If you're thinking of also nominating this fandom, I'd really like to hear your opinion on what to name the tag.
I have no requests for additional characters in this fandom either; if you're nominating this fandom, add whoever you like. :)

In Asterix: The fourth slot went to "Claudius Malosinus (Vexatius Sinusitus)" (aka the incorruptible Roman Quaestor from "Asterix in Switzerland").
In Cycling RPF: Character slot 3 and 4 went to Mark Cavendish and Brian Holm. The tag itself ended up being "Cycling RPF" as that made the most sense in regards to the discussion in the RPF Nominations Coordination Post.
I'm not too sure about this whole editing the spreadsheet, so I haven't been doing that.

And for the spreadsheet, I don't think having both languages matters as much, but I put it in like that anyway.
