What is Yuleporn?

In an exchange as big and diverse as Yuletide, it turns out a lot of people would love to write or receive explicit stories, but aren't comfortable asking for them or writing them without a little more information. Yuleporn is a sub-challenge (not really a challenge) to help Yuletiders request, write, and read the porn of their Yuletide dreams.

How Do I Participate?

• Betrayal at Krondor: I feel there's a wide range of potential ways one could easily delve into the pornographic here. I like things pretty dark, and I'm all about messed up stuff happening to Owyn in the course of Chapter IV when he and Gorath are imprisoned/drugged by and later attempt to facilitate their escape by arranging for Owyn to be sold into slavery. That being said, Gorath/Owyn is one of my earliest ships, and I'd also be into tropey lighthearted scenarios for them. Stuff like there only being one bed at the inn or having to huddle together for warmth in the Northlands is completely in keeping with all of the BaK flavor text indicating how inconvenient it can be to go on an adventure.

• Final Fantasy Tactics: I am down for pretty much any sort of villainfuckery you feel inspired to write, be it comparatively pleasant consensual hook-ups between Dycedarg and like-mind villains, shady seductions in the name of power, or messed up incest and/or non-con. In particular, I have a fondness for the idea of everyone's favorite parricidal goatboy getting together with Ruvelia Atkascha (Duke Larg's sister) for the purposes of producing a viable heir to keep the royal family in power. If you want to go super dark, I'm also definitely up for some sort of obsessive/co-dependent Dycedarg/Zalbag and even up for some murderous/non-consensual Goat!darg/Zalbag.

Do want: Mutual consent is essential, every step of the way, for all of these. In hetfic, I prefer femdom, I often find maledom squicky.
- Sex that doesn't involve cock-in-orifice-of-choice, as in oral sex, frotting, mutual masturbation, fingering for both genders. No, seriously. FINGERING. Half of the time, I like to read the prep in slash more than reading the about the actual penetration. With men in general it's made even better if the fingered guy comes untouched.
- Casual intimacy. For one: the state between 'just sex' and 'actual relationship', that in between when they're not quite sure what they are, growing closer despite never having planed for it to happen. And also: casual touches, closeness, things that aren't actually sexual but stem from being familiar with each other's bodies and comfortable in each other's spaces.
- Sensual fic. Don't just recount what's happening, but how it feels, smells, tastes.
- Experimental kink. Not full on kink, but the road to it. Realizing someone has a kink, trying it out together, coming across one by accident. Neither quite knows what they're doing, but they're figuring it out together. Hesitation, negotiation, are-you-sure-you-want-this.
- Rough sex. Wall-slamming. Shoving. More fighting than love-making. Bruises, bites, scratches. Selfish disregard of the other character's pleasure.
- Voyeurism/exhibition/public exposure. This may be small things in the bedroom -- legs being held open, labia or ass cheeks being parted to get a good look, a character liking to be seen by their partner -- or sex outdoors or in a semi-public place with the possibility of getting caught or publicly performed kink, or anything in between. Also relevant in this context: one partner being naked, the other fully clothed. Or in the other extreme, the sub on display being the only naked person in a room full of people watching; the latter preferably with an edge of humiliation or objectification.
- Painplay. Almost any level, from experimentally pressing bruises to impact play, knifeplay, nipple clamps, CBT, electro play, predicament bondage. No needles or the like, though, please, and no over-the-knee spanking.
- Object insertion. Mild versions, please: pegging, sounding, no butt plugs and nothing that marches into fisting territory.
- Other than that: breathplay, bondage (from being trapped in one's clothing to scarves to handcuffs to actual shibari), fear kink, power play, general dom-sub-dynamics.

Please don't: Please go easy on the dirty talk, and no verbal humiliation of the my pet/dirty boy/you slut variety. Unless it's already part of the fic, don't resort to ~magical tropes for sex, as in no ABO and no self-lubricating assholes, that whole jazz; if a regular human can't do it, don't put it in the fic. Stay away from bodily fluids and excrement; I like watersports in certain contexts, but I'm super picky with it, so let's not, and it's the same with rimming. No kink-based alternate universes.

And generally, don't go overboard and keep it in character and in the context of the source fandom, even if you go for an AU.
