I'm in New York City and will be organizing a writing meetup after Thanksgiving, probably in downtown Manhattan on Fridays during the afternoon/evening. Last year we met in a coffee shop, which I think worked decently well and we could do again. Please let me know if you're interested!

What dates work for you? My other availability is 12/14 late afternoon into evening, 12/15 morning to early afternoon, and pretty much any Monday evening in December.

The 14th and 15th work for me too, as does the 7th/8th

The morning of the 15th definitely works, as does the evening of the 16th. The 14th is a bit iffier for me, but I should have a better idea in the coming weeks.

Okay, how about 10:30 am on the 15th, at the Corner Bakery in front of Union Station? (Someone else is coming down on the MARC train, so I’m trying to make it easier for them.)

I’d love to make it a semi-regular thing! And if past experience has taught me anything, it’s that I write right up the deadline...

I'd also be down for meeting after the default deadline to polish final drafts, work on treats, etc.

...maybe. Kind of. Nearby for a tiny bit of time next week? Staying with a friend in Seattle for a few days, but writing buddies are cool and I have a car.

The actual answer to the question of 'anyone in the PNW?' is YES! But usually I'm in Vancouver, BC. Damn you Cascadia for being, like, a big chunk of geography.

I could probably drive up closer to Seattle for a meet-up. But I'm actually going to Whistler, BC next weekend! For snowboarding. We will just be passing through Vancouver, but any food recommendations? :)

I live in Seattle and would be down for meeting up this week, though I'm only free in the evening of Mon-Wed and then all day Fri-Sun. (Thursday is a no-go because, well...holiday)

There are a lot of libraries around we can hang out in if needed. It's probably too late to actually reserve a room, but they usually have little quiet work areas we can commandeer.

If there's anyone else in the mid-state area who'd like to meet up,

kriona and I will be in Whitewater at the SweetSpot Cafe this Sunday (12/1) in the morning. One of us is very tall with blue hair and the other is very short with curly dark blonde hair (and a bright green coat) so we should be easy to spot. If that cafe ends up way too crowded and we move elsewhere, I will leave another comment here.

Other possible dates for meetups are 12/7 and 12/14 - please let us know if you're interested!

I'm in the South Bay specifically, but would also be willing to travel to more SF-y, peninsula, or East Bay locations. My availability is generally evenings and weekends.

Anyone around? I live in the Okanagan and can do a day trip to Vancouver if anyone's interested.
