FANDOM NAME: Spider Riders
WHAT MAKES IT GREAT: It's a super-unique anime, directed by Koichi Mashimo. You know, the one behind Bee Train, which produced classics like the .hack anime and girls with guns trilogy (Noir, Madlax, El Cazador). A fun adventure story set in a fantasy world, with lots of neat characters and a mysterious atmosphere.
WHERE CAN I FIND IT?(optional): If you want the Japanese version, which I recommend because the English dub made a lot of senseless changes, unfortunately you must rely on fansubs. And those can be found here: https://sparklinglemonadesubs.wordpress.com/

FANDOM NAME: Battle Spirits Shonen Toppa Bashin
WHAT MAKES IT GREAT: I know you're thinking, 'card game anime? I've got Yu-Gi-Oh already. Pass.' Well, think again. STB is a totally different beast. It's a much more down-to-earth slice-of-life card game anime, though some supernatural elements are filtered in. It's all about the relationships between the characters. Just try coming out without wanting to ship everything. All the characters are so much fun too. Also, lots of laughs to be had.

FANDOM NAME: Tomica Hyper Rescue Drive Head Kidou Kyuukyuu Keisatsu
WHAT MAKES IT GREAT: Like robot anime? Want to see a new spin on the genre? Drive Head is a rescue robot anime. So it's not really about battles. It's about saving people from disasters. So, it's more like a cozy slice-of-life, and all of the characters are extremely likeable. Plenty of humor, and some good plot twists to be had as well.
