I'm not super excited, but I'm not despairing either. There are, however, some prompts in peoples' letter that I'm all kinds of excited about, so I'm totally going to be trying to write treats and possibly pinch hits, and maybe even NYR fics (though planning that far into the future with fic never seems to work out for me).
