Femslash Festivus - the debut

Do you want to write femslash for Yuletide? Have you combed through the letters, but have no idea who these characters are, why you might like them, and if the potential recipient is looking for the tropey femslash fic of your shared dreams? Here's your post! 

Femslash Festivus is a collection post for femslash requests that you are making for Yuletide. Posting here doesn't obligate you to do anything, but it helps other femslashers find you and treat you. 

Posting requirements: 

• Your request centers around a femslash pairing or poly arrangement involving at least two characters who identify as female in the canon. The femslash pairing can't just be a smaller part of a long dudeslash prompt. 
• I'm not going around the post policing whether or not your letters are femslash-y enough, but please be considerate and do not ask for genderbent versions of male characters in canon, e.g. asking for always-a-girl!Conan the Barbarian paired with Valeria. 

What you must include:

• Your AO3 name
• All the fandoms where you are making femslash requests, with characters mentioned (so if you are only asking for gen in one fandom, don't list that one) 
• If you are asking for femslash in a fandom where you requested no characters because you wanted worldbuilding or OCs, this is perfectly fine! Just make sure you talk up the kind of pairings you'd want to receive in your post. 

What you should probably include: 

• Some tropes, kinks, or themes you'd want (here's a big list of fanfic tropes from Fanlore - warning that some of these are quite dark)
• A brief description of your ship, if you think it's unfamiliar to most people
• Prompts!
• If you're open to receiving porn for Festivus, note it. 

You are welcome to tag the fics inspired by this post with 'Femslash Festivus.' I also recommend tagging your work with the Misses Clause Challenge, though Femslash Festivus is a separate thing. If anyone wants to start a spreadsheet, that would be deeply appreciated, as I am computer-hopeless.

Fandom: Legend of the Five Rings (LCG) with characters Doji Hotaru (L5R LCG) and Bayushi Kachiko (L5R LCG)

This is probably unfamiliar to most people, but it's a very easy fandom to get into. L5R LCG is a samurai fantasy world of high drama, undead, deadly court maneuvers, intrigue, ninja, violent military action, heresy, romance--it's got everything. Even better, the entirety of the canon exists in a series of short stories freely available here as PDFs (scroll down to "Stories"). While there are a dozen-odd short stories about various power players in the setting right now (it's an ongoing canon), the two relevant ones for this pairing are "Her Father's Daughter" and "The World, a Stage" (under "Core Stories").

Bayushi Kachiko is the most beautiful woman in the land of Rokugan, whose star is in the ascendant; comes from the Scorpion Clan, known for its loyalty to the Emperor combined with manipulation, deception, and ninja; and is married to the Scorpion Clan Champion. But she's carrying on a secret affair with the elegant Crane Clan Champion, Doji Hotaru, a fearsome and beautiful warrior who is also tormented by the murder of her demanding father--who may have driven her mother to suicide. There's a ton of potential here for angst or drama or tragedy, although I would be just as delighted to see a happily-ever-after or happy-for-now take on the pairing.

Prompts:
- How did Kachiko and Hotaru meet and fall in love?
- How much is Kachiko manipulating her lover, and how much does her husband Bayushi Shoju (if you want to bring him in) know about what's going on?
- Does Hotaru have tricks of her own up her sleeve? Is she countermanipulating Kachiko? I mean, she is the Crane Champion, and a Doji at that.
- For the crack version, you could do bodyswap smut.
- Or the Discord chat version of them flirting.

I'm open to smut or PWP, although this pairing need not go explicit--I think the interpersonal interplay could be just as interesting. BDSM is fine but please avoid other kinks that you'd specifically tag for. My tastes here are pretty vanilla.
