It's currently looking like:

Wayward Children series by Seanan McGuire - Nancy Whitman, Jack Wolcott, Loriel Youngers, Jill Wolcott
The series consists of two novellas so far, so it's a pretty quick read. The first, Every Heart A Doorway, is a 'what happens next' for portal fantasies. It's set in Eleanor West's Home for Wayward Children - a school for the children who travel to magical worlds and then get sent back to somewhere that isn't home any more. Soon after Nancy arrives at the school, tragedy strikes, and she and her schoolmates race to figure out what's happening. The main character is asexual, and one of the supporting characters is trans.
The second, Down Among The Sticks and Bones, is a prequel focussing on twins Jack and Jill and their horror-movie world of The Moors - a world of vampires and mad scientists and a blood-red moon. Don't want to spoil anything, but there's also queer representation.

Red House Mystery by A. A. Milne - Antony Gillingham, Bill Beverly
Did you know that A. A. Milne (yes, Winnie-the-Pooh A. A. Milne) wrote a detective novel? And that it is 1. great, 2. really funny, 3. slashable to an almost ridiculous extent, and 4. freely available on Project Gutenberg? Well, now you do :)
I'd be happy to nominate other characters for the two open slots if anyone has requests.

El Tiempo Entre Costuras - Felix Aranda, Sira Quiroga, Rosalinda Fox
Sira, a seamstress from Madrid, abandons her life and runs off to Morocco with her lover - who naturally turns out to be a cad and leaves her in the lurch. But Sira has pluck and tenacity and makes some truly wonderful friends, all of which combine to help her get back on her feet and start a new life. The Spanish Civil War and then WWII are coming, though - and with them, intrigue and spies and action!
Last slot is open if anyone has requests.

Other things I would love to see nominated:

Whispering Mountain by Joan Aiken - I would so love to see fic about Arabis, but I have a feeling I'm the only person in the world who's read this... It's technically a prequel to the Wolves Chronicles, but even the description on Joan Aiken's official website starts with "sometimes forgotten as part of the Wolves Chronicles"!

Swallows and Amazons series - I'm hoping someone else will nominate this! There's usually more than one of us, Yuletide will feel strange without it... Anyone?

Vexed - mainly got bumped off the almost-positive-definite list of nominations because I got such an awesome fic last year, but it's dear to my heart and I would love to know if someone else is nominating it.
