How about some recs here?

We've been doing consolidated recs posts over on LJ (here is the most recent), but I was wondering if there is any interest in having recs posts over here on Dreamwidth, since many of us regard this as our journaling home.

Should we post recs on this community, and if so, how?

Incidentally, the two most recent recs posts on LJ (and possibly the first as well, though I didn't make that one so I didn't get the notification) made the top 25 LJ post list.

If people want a master post (or more than one), I'll happily make one tomorrow (or later today - depends on how much response this poll gets, and how quickly) unless someone beats me to it. If it looks like people would just like to see individual recs posts - then please, start posting recs!

And the recs have it (maybe...) - post 'em! Please use the 'recs' tag so they can be filtered out, and if you are directly posting recs rather than a link to your journal, please put them behind a cut tag with the fandoms listed either outside, or as the cut tag text. If the flood becomes overwhelming, we'll switch to the masterpost structure.

I'm not the right person to do it, because I have already tried running searches for Yuletide Recs on Tumblr and have found a huge mishmash of recs, posts mentioning Yuletide, posts using the word "yuletide", recs marked "Yuletide 2014" and recs marked "Yuletide 2013."

I'm also not finding any rec posts on Google this year--not even recs I've made. Which is weird. I've never had that problem before.
