Tennis-related fandoms (RPF etc) in the 2024 tag set

I nominated a few tennis-related fandoms and noticed some others going through the tags, so I thought it would be handy with a few days left until nominations close to highlight those for people who want to nominate or request:

1. 2024 Grand Slam Season (Tennis) RPF.

Pretty self-explanatory but this includes male and female players who have been active during the 2024 Grand Slam Season:

Both these players are retired and if I had to guess why this came up this year it would be, Serena hosting the ESPY awards and dedicating a song to Maria.

3. Federer: Twelve Final Days RPF

Based on a 2024 documentary that is available on Amazon in the US (and probably anywhere in the world,since it’s basically a Rolex commercial). It covers Federer’s retirement announcement and final doubles match at the 2022 Laver Cup, and is a good entry point or refresher course for the biggest men’s tennis stars of the past 20 years. If all those years of lore are intimidating, this is a fun watch with the appropriate amount of manly tears and hand-holding.

4. ON: Roger v. Zendaya

5. The Tour: A Reality Show | The BIGGEST Secret in Tennis - ATP Tour (Video)

Bert Critchley as Novak Djokovic, Fraser McKnight as Andy Murray, Peter Arthur as Gael Monfils, Thomas Johnson as Casper Ruud

Based on this ad for the ATP, in which the players pretend to be actors pretending to be players. Funny stuff!

6. Belated addition! I just realized Switzerland Tourism: "Falling for Autumn" Commercial (seem here starring Mads Mikkleson + Roger Federer is also in the tag set!!

[Note I didn't list Challengers since Challengers is already very popular + due to its popularity I thought it was worth calling attention to all the other tennis-adjacent fandoms]
