Yuletide Fandom Promo 2024!

Welcome to the Fandom Promo post, everyone!
Here's where you get those eyes on your fandoms for sign-ups!
Share what makes your Yuletide fandoms the shiniest and why you love them. A big part of Yuletide is how small our fandoms can be, and this is a good way to make sure other people know what gems there are out there!
Cheju has started a spreadsheet for promo! Here's the link!
Here are some areas you can cover:

This is at your discretion and is not expected to be comprehensive
(Bonus options: What are you thinking of requesting for this? If you're thinking of nominating worldbuilding, what sort of worldbuilding topics might people explore?)
Useful tip (Not required, but helps people if they want to engage with your fandom!):
- It's best to make each fandom its own entry with its own title in the subject line! That makes it easier for people to find/see what you're promoting! Don't worry about 'spam', that is the entire point of this entry and you're using it exactly as intended.

Media: TV series
Approx length:
23 ~42 min episodes
Where to find it:
Google tells me Apple TV, and it's available for purchase on Amazon Prime in the US at least.
What is it, in summary?:
A CW scifi series, following a woman named Jax, the survivor of an attack on her colony, in which her parents were killed. Unsatisfied with the investigation, she continues trying to find out the truth on her own. She enrolls at the EarthCom Fleet Training Academy and ends up embarking on many space adventures with the people she meets there - such as Ralen, the son of the Zatarian ambassadora and the first Zatarian at the Academy, Atria Nine, a renegade clone who fled her homeworld after killing her former master, Tommy Ross, an empath, Delaney Pilar, a cybernetically augmented human, Xander Duvall, an intelligence agent, amongst many other characters. Naturally, as a CW show, the stakes range from galactic threat to romantic drama and everything in between.
What do you love about it?:
It's just fun scifi that treats pretty much everything that happens with the same level of drama, whether it warrants it or not, whether that means far too much or far too little. The characters are mostly all great fun and make what is sometimes a slightly limited script warm and characterful. I genuinely hadn't been expecting to have as good a time as I did with this and it scratched the fandom side of my brain immediately. One of the characters I nommed appears in S1 as a minor antagonist and then has a really lovely redemption arc over S2 that makes my heart so full.
What sort of things are you likely to request for it?:
I'd encourage running with worldbuilding for the one, though I'm likely to request shipping fic. I'm very partial to the Zatarian characters, and likely to request fic that explores them in more depth.
Are there sections of canon (rather than the whole canon) that can be consumed by themselves to fulfil your requests, or that showcase particular characters and relationships?:
For my particular requests, I've focused on two characters who come into their own in season 2 (and the two leads), so potentially you could just watch season 2 (10 eps) and read a synopsis of season 1 and get what you'd need out of it.
Content warnings (ie, rape, incest, racism, gore/violence):
There's a lot of space racism (ie, racism directed at the Zatarian characters) and some violence, though no gore to my memory. Particularly in season one, there is some sexual violence committed and implied to be committed against two of the female characters (Pilar and Atria Nine) and discussion of it in Atria Nine's backstory. None of this is explicit, but it is very clear. In season two, Jax is impregnated against her will/without her knowledge through a medical procedure.
