AO3 name: Trialia Letter link: https://trialia.dreamwidth.org/622106.html Fandoms: Indexing - Seanan McGuire; Chalet School - Elinor M. Brent-Dyer; The Haunting of Hill House - Shirley Jackson
Details: Not all my fandoms suit, quite, but:
Gender identity tropes are very much played with in Indexing, and my headcanon is that one of my requested potential characters, Demi Santos, is non-binary.
My Chalet School request is all about queering that fandom in as many ways as possible, and there are several characters who are definitely gender non-conforming and could easily be read, or written, as trans.
For Hill House, I could perhaps see a trans Eleanor; she is so fiercely repressed and crushed by her family, and the story is set in 1959, that she could very well be an egg; Theodora's "friend" is never given any definite gender identifiers in canon, and my headcanon is that they're the '50s equivalent of genderqueer.
My likes and DNWs can be a bit daunting, but they're in my letter if this catches your eye - and thanks.
