New Spreadsheet Project: Canons Legally Available For Free On The Internet

Hello everyone! rabidsamfan and I have embarked on a new Yuletide organization project: providing the links for all canons that are legally available for free on the internet.

We have gone through and pre-populated with links we already had, thanks to the work of others on this comm in organizing fandoms, and through some googling. As of right now, we have the links for about 300 fandoms. That is just a very small fraction of the Yuletide tagset.


What we need:

1. Collaborators! These people will be given edit access to the spreadsheet and will add information, either that they found themselves or from the comments. We would like it if people could volunteer to look over certain categories. For instance, there are 732 movies nominated; it would be great if there could be a team of people working on those.
   
   We've also started adding subcategories to the tagset's main categories and need people to brainstorm and fill those out, as well.



2. Commenters! If you know of a link, please comment below and someone will add it to the spreadsheet. Please provide the following information:
   
   If the canon is available legally for free on the internet:
   
   Fandom: Name of fandom as it appears in the tagset
   
   Link: Hyperlink(s) to the canon's location
   
   Comments: any additional information, such as that it only has the 5th season of a tv show.
   
   Known Geolocking Problems: if you know if the link is only available in certain countries, please indicate that!
   
   
   If the canon is NOT available legally for free on the internet:
   
   If you know that the canon is not legally available for free on the internet, please comment with the name of the fandom as it appears in the tagset, and we will mark it as not available.
   



3. Google Sheets experts! If there are things we can do to make this spreadsheet better, we'd love the help.
   

Criteria for inclusion:

1. The canon has to be legally available. Please don't provide links to bootlegs.


2. It's fine if it's partial. Example: only the last season of a TV show, or only one movie in a series.


3. It's fine if it's geolocked. Example: if the canon is only available on BBC iPlayer, we are happy to list it.


4. For now, we have marked all RPF fandoms as "not available". We have linked to promo post comments where we've found them and are happy to link new ones, for those who want to provide links for RPF purposes.

This is a huge project and probably impossible, but we're going to give the ol' Yuletide try. *\o/*

Some Kamen Rider seasons available in full, but region-locked

Making this separate from my other Kamen Rider post because it's long enough, these shows are available in full with English subs, but only available in North America. (Also the Toei Tokusatsu World Official channel is specifically unavailable in Japan, but like, I'm sure they have official DVD releases and stuff)

Note: These subs are kinda disliked by the Kamen Rider community, because they subbed the Grongi (villain) language in plain English when you're not supposed to be able to understand it. But, it's official.

So is it correct that the shout-tv links for all of them are just season 1? Or are these the full shows, but region locked?

Kamen Rider is a franchise that consists of seasons that can be watched independently of each other. Kamen Rider (1971) is season 1 (because it literally is the first one made) and like, Kuuga is season 14. Fans don’t typically refer to the seasons by numbers though, so I wouldn’t include them. The links do contain their full season.
