Some clarification about crossover types:
• Crossovers tend to involve Fandom A's characters interacting with Fandom B's characters or worldbuilding, with everyone retaining their canon backgrounds. Ex. Harley Quinn and The X-Men team up to defeat a villain, or Enola Holmes falls into a portal that takes her to Westeros.
• Fusions tend to be AUs in which Fandom A's characters have always existed in Fandom B's setting instead of their own, often replacing Fandom B's characters. Ex. Bucky Barnes as a contestant in the Hunger Games, where Fury and Howard Stark are referees. (A fic like this in which Hunger Games characters also appear would be a hybrid between a fusion and crossover.)

Dirty Computer/Star Trek: is the Dirty Computer world part of the Eugenics Wars and/or WWIII?
Dirty Computer/Murderbot: Is the dystopian world of Dirty Computer part of the Corporation Rim?
Oh My General/Xena: Xena goes to China, has lots of martial arts and military shenanigans with the general while Gabrielle talks poetry with the prince? Or just lots of political shenanigans as this barbarian warlord is traveling through their territory?
Enola Holmes/Lord Peter Wimsey: Peter hasn't been born yet, but his mother would be around and the Duchess of Denver (instead of the Dowager Duchess). (Although I suppose she might not be married yet, or her husband might not have inherited the title yet.) Is she involved with the anarchist suffragette group? Does she get caught up in one of Holmes' cases? That scatterbrained exterior hides a mind like a steel trap.
Caprica/Battlestar Galactica: is Tamara-A still around in some Cylon computer system somewhere during the Cylon war? What does she think of the Final Five? Does she ever get a chance to meet Bill Adama?
Caprica/Murderbot Diaries: Tamara would be horrified by the Cylon war. So would Murderbot and ART. I wonder what their perspective on Tamara would be, and also, remember how the Centurions in BSG have those little doohickies in their heads that force them to obey the skinjobs? Isn't that like a governor module? What would Murderbot do? Are the colonies a lost colony that ART is trying to contact and save from invading corporates?
Caprica/Imperial Radch: Tamara is the opposite of Breq. (Human consciousness uploaded to a computer, instead of a computer consciousness downloaded to a human body.) And the Cylons rising up and killing humans would be anathema to Breq and any AI of the Radch.

Prompts!: The fandom I'm requesting (Barron's E-Z Math Textbook Series) is a series of books that teach math through the adventures of characters who have to discover math concepts and techniques in the course of their adventures in a fantasy kingdom. I'd love to see them cross over with other fandoms based on educational content--I noticed Lingua Latina per se illustrata as well as The Magic School Bus in the tagset, both of which I do know, but I would also welcome other educational fandoms, whether or not I know them. Fusion with 221b Baker Towers: "Toss out what's impossible. Then take a good hard look at whatever's left, bruv, 'cause don't matter how mad, it's true." Sherlock believes the evidence of his senses, but is very, very suspicious of PC Grant and some posh DCI in his ends 'taking an interest'. This is a gritty, fan-sourced, modern day adaptation of Doyle's Sherlock Holmes where Sherlock is a young black man growing up on a council estate in London, with almost no actual canon.
Fusion with Highlander: I've got 3 potential prompts in mind here.
* Nightingale might recognize Duncan MacLeod, in modern-day London, from his time working during WWII living in London, as part of the Resistance, or working for the British secret service.
* A murder scene with decapitation and evidence of lightning strikes is being investigated as a possible Falcon case.
* Methos has finally tracked down those records of Nazi magical experimentation that went missing during the war, and gets caught trying to sneak into the Folly to destroy them.
* Fusion with Foyle's War: Thomas Nightingale, barely functioning after Ettersberg, is sent to work with Foyle and Sam in cleaning up a very disturbing library. Perhaps this is the beginning of The Arrangement?
'Adam Ruins Everything' - think of this as a 24-minute fandom! This truTV show is a series of short 24-minute episodes where Adam Conover 'ruins' topics by confronting common misconceptions, stereotypes, and urban legends about them. You can watch any or all of the episodes here. Adam Conover made a career out of his own epic nerdiness and complete lack of social skills. (If he isn't on the spectrum, I'd be shocked.) Every time I watched an episode, I learned something new. This show is a PERFECT vehicle for world-building in any sci-fi or fantasy canon. Here are a few of my ideas as prompts:
* Adam/Steerswomen, with Adam as a steersman, asking and (much too truthfully) answering questions and getting in all kinds of trouble for it.
* Adam/The Expanse, with Adam explaining the Proto-molecule to a network audience.
* Adam/Dragonriders of Pern, with Adam as a Harper creating a Teaching Song.
* An Adam/Beforeigners episode where Adam can address common misconceptions about migrants from the past, or perhaps is looking at how our understanding of history has been changed by the new information and perspective they offer
* Adam/Dune with Paul Atreides coming across a banned filmbook where Adam teaches the true history of Arrakis
* Adam/D&D Honor Among Thieves with Adam as a wildly un-charismatic bard heckling Elgin's performance, trying to fact-check and debunk the 'Heroic' version of canonical events in real-time

Prompts!: I think Doctor Jacquith is a magnificent psychiatrist. So I want a story with him. I'd love a crossover with another film (or story) from the 1930s or 1940s where a character needs either psychotherapy or time at Cascades. Are the characters from Bringing up Baby committed? Do the leads from Love, Affair need help with their relationship? Would Ingrid Bergman’s character from Notorious not have gone to Brazil if she’d had proper treatment for her alcoholism? What about that Wayne boy and his obsession with bats? Or if you prefer an older Bruce Wayne, what if Doctor Jacquith treated Dick Grayson for his trauma? I’m not a huge fan of gangster movies, but I’ll be happy with any film crossover from the right time frame. I love Hitchcock, Capra, and screwball comedies.

Remington Steele (Laura Holt, Remington Steele) - My only requested fandom that works normally for crossovers. Steele's shady mysterious history can tie to a whole lot of other fandom.
• Leverage - The crew needs a grifter for a case, and Harry has heard rumors about this detective...
• Leverage - Steele Agency is hired to investigate missing goods that are part of a Leverage case; Steele sees right through Sophie.
• White Collar - Peter has been tracking Steele for years (under some other name); the leads went cold several years ago but the computer's recently had some hits
• White Collar alternate - Neal ran in the same circles as Steele years ago, and knew he'd gotten out of the life; that's how he knew it was possible. They've got a case that ties to one of Steele's (alleged) jewelry heists, and they go to ask him some questions.
• Sherlock - They wind up following a lead to London; they have to investigate and keep Sherlock from noticing that Steele strongly resembles a suspect in a long-dormant but open case.
• DCU Comics - The Daily Planet hires the RS Agency to find out which of their employees are not actually doing their reporter jobs; the agency is starting to notice that Kent has a tendency to vanish (while still on the clock) during big cases.
• Highlander Fusion - Steele is immortal and he's been at the "drop identity every few years" game for much longer than Laura realized
• James Bond Fusion - Steele is actually undercover agent James Bond 007
• X-Files - Mulder & Scully are investigating the same spooky stuff that the agency is looking into.
Scholomance (Worldbuilding) - This seems more fusion-y than crossover-y; its magic system is too detailed to mesh well with fandoms like Harry Potter or Untamed. (Not that I'd object. Just doesn't seem to be as easy as "Detectives meet the detectives" crossovers.)
• Untamed Fusion - Scholomance-ish events with WWX as El; LWJ as Orion (wow, that's painful to think about), etc.
• Untamed Fusion, the other type: WWX, NHS, LWJ etc attend the Scholomance
• Untamed Fusion, the other direction - El, Orion, etc. attend Cloud Recesses lessons during the buildup to a war with one of the Enclaves
• BNHA Fusion - El, Orion, etc. are hero students at UA
• Leverage - The Enclaves run some scams to keep themselves flush with money; the Leverage team discovers them
• Constantine - Constantine's a non-Enclave wizard who didn't attend the Scholomance, and he runs into El post-canon and they talk about her new plans

There's a lot of neat potential here! Throw Wu Xie and Su Nan at Chang Dong and Ye Liuxi! Gutongjing and Yumen Pass being Related Weird Spaces! Monsters escape from Yumen Pass and Wu Xie runs into Ye Liuxi while hunting them down! Wu Xie and Chang Dong meet because of desert expedition stuff! Ye Liuxi and Su Nan clock each other as suspicious and circle each other until they end up fighting alongside each other! Li Cu and his friends meet Ding Liu and her gang! IDK, have fun!

Generally I'm in favor of crossovers! Prompts!: I'd love to see Katrielle and Emiliana working with Lucy and Alfendi (and Hilda?) on a murder case! Maybe a canon divergence AU where serial killer Diane becomes Lucy's Moriarty-style nemesis figure and the case is getting complex enough that Scotland Yard has to call in extra resources in the form of its star profiler? Maybe Katrielle just happens to be in the area for a family reunion with Alfendi and gets caught up in events? Or perhaps Diane winds up fixating on Katrielle (there's some fun potential for Emiliana to get irrationally jealous that someone else is staking a claim on her rival, and then annoyed at herself for the irrational response. Of course, Diane wouldn't limit her brand of flirty threats to just Lucy and Katrielle...)?
Ship-wise, I like Katrielle/Emiliana, any combination of Alfendi/Hilda/Lucy/Diane, and would be very interested in seeing Lucy and/or Diane added to Katrielle/Emiliana!

- Batman: Wayne Family Adventures (Webcomic)/Superman Returns (2006)/Young Justice (2019 Comics) - These are pretty self-explanatory, I guess, since they're all DC, and there's always been a lot of multiverse shenanigans anyhow :D
- Batman: Wayne Family Adventures (Webcomic)/Much Ado About Nothing (2011) - I would find it hilarious to see the Batfam in Much Ado's setting. Or maybe Damian's school is staging the play and everyone (expecially Jason) is getting involved.

Cowboy Bebop: I would love to see this combined with Ghost Trick Detective. I don't know why, I just feel like the style and vibes work so well together. I'd like for Spike and Jet to get involved in solving some kind of mystery, and Faye/Ed/Ein come along. Maybe they volunteer to solve a case in order to win a big bounty.
Gankutsuou: Hunger Games, And Then There Were None, Squid Game. Scenarios where they have no choice but to defend and work together but also in a way that there's still other people around them who make them doubt each other.
What if society wants to punish Edmond as the cause for all the destruction that happened, and they create this Hunger Games/Squid Game like scenario? And Albert is caught in the casualties because of his loyalties/inability to turn against the Count.
Gokushufudou Househusband Manga: I'm going for himbo in love vibes, so anything that creates misunderstandings, strong men pining for one another.
I think this would be a fun fandom to mix with like an Ouran High School Host Club.
Yakuza members like Tatsu, Torajirou, Tatsu's old boss, get dragged into the mix and have to act as "proper" hosts for the girlbosses like Miku, Torajirou's sister, Torii.
Tintin: God I love Tintin and Haddock so much, and I guess they've technically done this during Shooting Star. but I'd love to mix Tintin and Haddock with The Terror. Stranded in ice, Haddock told Tintin this was too dangerous of a mission but Tintin won the argument, and now they're stuck... with some other random NPC passengers who get eaten. Tintin and Haddock confronting their relationship, not wanting to die.. Being out in the sea, how it makes Haddock introspective. Desperate love confessions, feelings realization..
For something more light hearted, I'd love to mix Tintin and Haddock with Kokoro Connect. Some bodyswapping shenanigans, what if Calculus created some sort of invention and acidentally they swapped bodies. I love the bodyswap/clothing swap/sharing clothes trope with Tintin and Haddock so I feel like this could pair well. Tintin realizing how strong and manly Haddock is, seeing his hairy muscular body and expecting himself, and realizing the size difference between he and him in reality.
Taskmaster RPF: Would love to see Alex/Rhod/Greg on a different reality show... somewhere they can all be crazy but around people who have NO IDEA what their dynamic is like because to them, they're just three crazy British guys. Actually, now that I think about it, I would love to fuse Alex/Rhod/Greg into the Top Gun universe. I just think them as fighters pilots would be so... amazing.

I love crossovers! Although I have to admit that for Yuletide my preference is for crossovers with other Yuletide-sized fandoms. Of the fandoms I have requested here, the one with the most obvious crossover potential (to my mind) is The Raven Tower, and I would love to read a crossover for that fandom. For [community profile] crossworks this year I requested a crossover between it and Earthsea, because I think there are interesting connections in the worldbuilding between them, but also because I would love to see The Strength and Patience of the Hill meet a dragon, or Tenar, or Master Ogion, or Ged. I think it would also cross over with the Riddle-Master Trilogy in an interesting way. What similarities are there between gods and earth-masters? Could someone like Deth, Morgon or Raederle become a god, or be distinguished from one?
Or, because if one darling rock is good, two would be even better, what if the Strength and Patience of the Hill met Naraht from Diane Duane's Rihanssu novels?
For historical canons, the crossover potential is more complicated, but here are some thoughts. What if Maimonides lived in the same historical continuity as Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell. Would he have studied magic or been a magician? Along the same lines, what if Flavia or Ness met the Raven King? What if he, or Flavia and/or Ness, was translated into some other, fictional universe, or encountered time travelers? Canons with time travel which I have enjoyed include 12 Monkeys and the Oxford Time Travel Universe; I am not entirely sure how a crossover here would work, but I would be excited to read your ideas!

I’m okay with a dark take/character death if you want him to ‘catch the curse’ by seeing someone they know commit suicide: Emily, Zoe, Robbie, Bridget, all fine. Maybe Henry or Suzanna? That would be devastating for him. Or Nora? That would flatten Josh, especially if the evil that took her out meant that she didn’t get a door or just vanished. I love how this evil creeps in and makes the person under its influence distrust their own minds and grow more desperate.
Fall (2022)
Fusion - Maybe it was on her bucket list to climb that thing, and Sally convinces the boys to go up with her while she has her body back. I feel like the answer to them getting stranded is Aidan dropping on purpose because the fall wouldn’t kill him? But what if the risk was too high, there’s a pile of wood at the base or something and it’s too risky (Idk, lol). Maybe Sally would offer to fall on purpose, die/lose her body, and get help for them as a ghost? Maybe the guys don’t want to go for that because she finally has her life back. What if they’re trapped up there with a full moon coming? That would put a countdown on how long Josh has to make it because I really don’t see his wolf balancing at the top…. Is Nora with them, or at home not expecting them back yet? The threat of getting knocked over by birds is okay, but I’d rather the birds not die and they just get shooed away.
Fresh (2022)
Crossover - I love Aidan in protector mode, so any kind of rescue scenario would be amazing. Who was abducted to be farmed? Josh, Sally, Nora? Some combination? Absolutely any scenario where Aidan rescues whoever is there or has a confrontation with Steve who is utterly unprepared for a vampire busting in on his operation. I’m okay with amputation as long as it’s only one (or one per person if there’s multiple victims), so for example: one arm missing or one leg but not more than one amputation per person if Aidan arrives a little too late to prevent that kind of thing from having happened. I’m also okay with no amputations and Aidan arriving in the nick of time in his

Fusion - This movie was a trip. What would possess (ha) Aidan to use that thing? Is he looking for Sally after one of the times she goes missing after using magic? Is Aidan using it in secret, and if so, how is he letting go of the hand then? Or did he find a way to get Josh to agree to it?
Krampus (2015)
Fusion - The blend of horror and comedy in this movie is the best. Attacked by gingerbread men, the teddy bear, that giant Jack-in-the-Box snake thing, or any other toy turned vicious? I would love any of that. I also loved the blizzard weather and the obstacles that created with it descending without warning. Do Aidan and the guys gets trapped in a snow globe? Does Aidan defeat Krampus or end up with an ornament?
M3GAN (2022)
Fusion - Maybe Aidan ends up at a demonstration for some reason, and things go haywire? Maybe Ramona doesn’t trap them in the house, and they get her a M3GAN for company until they can figure out how to get her out of the house, but now they have two murderous little girls to deal with? How do a vampire, a werewolf, and a ghost measure up against a homicidal child AI doll? A mystery I need to be solved. lol

Women's Murder Club (TV)/Worldweavers - Alma Alexander: Fusion here - what if Women's Murder Club was set in the Worldweavers world? What magic would each of them be using to crack cases? How would that affect the story? Or have a crossover where Thea ends up helping out the murder club women on a case?
FBI (TV 2018)/Worldweavers - Alma Alexander: Also fusion - what if FBI was set in the Worldweavers world? Would the FBI work with the FBM? (Worldweavers never does mention the FBI - does it actually exist or does the FBM fulfill that function?) How would the use of magic affect the FBI's capabilities and function? Or do a crossover where Thea ends up in their world and gets involved with one of their cases somehow.
FBI (TV 2018)/Cybergeddon (Web Series): What would get Chloe to travel to the NYC FBI and meet up with Maggie and Omar? (Bonus points for observations on them looking similar, lol, since it's the same actress for both characters.)
Sue Thomas F.B.Eye/Cybergeddon (Web Series): What if Chloe from Cybergeddon runs into Tara from Sue Thomas? They're both computer geeks, though I think Chloe has much better tech skills.
1-800-Missing (TV)/Worldweavers - Alma Alexander: I'd love to see this as a fusion, with Jess and Brooke and Sunny using magic to solve crimes, along with Jess's visions.
Leverage/Worldweavers - Alma Alexander: Original Leverage only (I've never seen Redemption and consider none of it canon) - either fusion or crossover. I could see Parker being an Elemental, lol. Or Thea stumbling into their world somehow and using magic to take down bad guys with them. I'm not into the OTP or Hardison/Parker; I ship Nate/Sophie and Eliot/Parker but I also enjoy reading the younger three as all platonic.
Rookie Blue/Worldweavers - Alma Alexander: Either crossover or fusion works great here! I'd love Sam and Andy (or Gail and Dov) using magic to solve cases - or Thea ending up in the middle of one of their cases.
Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman/Worldweavers - Alma Alexander: This is one case where I'd only like a crossover and not fusion with Worldweavers - because I'd love to see Clark (or both Clark and Lois) ending up in Thea's world somehow! It could be the Alt-Clark, regular Clark, an Elseworlds Clark, maybe one who finds his Lois in Thea's world… the possibilities are endless!
The Pretender/Worldweavers - Alma Alexander: I'd love to see a fusion where both Jarod and The Centre people have magic like in Worldweavers. Or a crossover where either Jarod (with or without Miss Parker) or Thea travel to another world. Jarod/Miss Parker are my OTP here for sure. :D
Rizzoli & Isles (TV)/Worldweavers - Alma Alexander: I'd love to see Jane solving cases with magic, or Thea somehow ending up in their world.
Smallville/Worldweavers - Alma Alexander: Specifically crossover only here - I'm a huge Clark/Chloe fan and would love to see them somehow in Thea's world - or vice versa. I've only seen the first three seasons in full (quit before the end of S4) so feel free to throw out anything that came later and create your own version of how it could have been. I would imagine Thea would handle the Luthors way better than Clark did, given her skills.
X-Men original movieverse/Worldweavers - Alma Alexander: Crossover only here too - given the different types of abilities, it would be fantastic to see Thea visit the X-Men's world, or vice versa. I've seen only the first three films but I greatly dislike them killing off Scott and Professor X, so please throw X3 out entirely. The rest of the films are not canon to me, so you can diverge all you like. I ship Scott/Ororo, Scott/Rogue, Scott/Kitty, Logan/Rogue, or Kitty/Pete (don't have any OTPs here, lol). I've thought it would be neat to see Kitty and Thea comparing their computer skills - which are rather different in nature and power, but truly, anything works for me!
