I really love seeing fanart of my favorite characters, especially for my rarer ships. I honestly can’t think of a style of fanart I don’t think is cool. I love both realistic and cartoony styles, I think that chibis are cute, I have a lot of delight for reinterpretations of visual canons (some of my favorite pieces of fanart are setting AUs). That said, some things I especially like in art:
- Draw my faves with wings and I will love you
- Tarot, dream imagery, and other symbology
- Space, the ocean, and other vast environments
- Characters being relaxed/happy
- Snuggling with partner(s)/friends
- Interacting with animals
- Action poses (dance, combat, playing games, etc.)
- Characters examining neat items
- Light! (dramatic black-and-white shadow-work, subtle dappled sunlight, a magical/mystical light-source, etc.)
- Color! (jewel tones, neon, pastel, monochrome, highlights... I like it all)
- Black and white/Grayscale art! (making art read clearly when you aren't using color is awesome!)
- Lineless art awes me (it's hard for me!)
- Beautiful lineart delights me (but obviously isn't necessary)
If you want to draw NSFW stuff, go ahead! My only preference is that if you're drawing characters who normally have body hair, I want to see the body hair! Especially pubic hair. That's basically my only preference as far as genitals go. xD I like seeing realistic body types (I especially like seeing chubby/fat characters!). I am interested in art of disabled characters and accessibility devices. I like seeing trans characters, I'm down for intersex characters, and I enjoy anthros and xeno and things like that too.no subject

I would welcome art treats for any of my requests--I think they all could be awesome! The thing I have a very specific prompt for, however, is art of Clarissa from The Love Child. There's this beautifully described scene when she first appears that lived in my head for ages, and in that moment she seemed almost as real to me as she does to Agatha, and I want to see her, please.
I also would love to see art of any of the Barron's E-Z Math characters in a more realistic or colorful style, since they only exist as cartoony line drawings. I especially love that Alexanderman Trigonometeris (introduced in Barron's E-Z Trigonometry) appears to be drawn as a person of color (although especially since the drawings have so little detail, there's no reason you have to interpret all the other characters as white either). He's also an extremely handsome line drawing, what can I say? XD
But again, even though those are the most specific prompts I have, all of my requests are things I would love to see art for!

omg I would love ANYTHING for this, I love Spike/Jet so I'd love to see something with them. I am so obsessed with the visual of them shotgunning cigarette smoke as they kiss. There's so much homoerotic tension and smoking in the show that I feel it pairs well.
I would also love something angsty, Jet/Faye finding Spike, despair or fix-it relieved.

Gokushufudou Would love something funny, Tatsu in more weird cosplay like a Monsters Inc outfit as Sully or something silly like that. I love raccoons so I'd love for Tatsu to become friends with raccoons who pilfer from their trash cans, something wholesome like that. I love the Tatsu/Torajirou pairing, so more of Tatsu Torajirou acting like total himbos in love, acting like they have one collective brain cell and getting into mischief.
Tatsu gets on the show Hell's Kitchen or Iron Chef and Torajirou is obnoxiously cheering him on from the audience.
Tintin Would love a first kiss between Tintin/Haddock, Tintin wearing Haddock's iconic blue sweater captain's hat, smelling the Captain on him, Tintin Haddock and Calculus having a picnic in a garden full of sunflowers that Calculus grew himself
Taskmaster RPF Alex/Greg/Rhod smut, tbh. These hairy, bearded scruffy men. Height difference, size difference, hairy chests/legs/pits. Also, I would love to see these three in a Dad aesthetic. The whole socks with sandals, think they would look so handsome.

Crossover Art prompts:
Cowboy Bebop: I would love to see this combined with Ghost Trick Detective. I don't know why, I just feel like the style and vibes work so well together. I'd like for Spike and Jet to get involved in solving some kind of mystery, and Faye/Ed/Ein come along. Maybe they volunteer to solve a case in order to win a big bounty.
Gankutsuou: Hunger Games, And Then There Were None, Squid Game. Scenarios where they have no choice but to defend and work together but also in a way that there's still other people around them who make them doubt each other.
What if society wants to punish Edmond as the cause for all the destruction that happened, and they create this Hunger Games/Squid Game like scenario? And Albert is caught in the casualties because of his loyalties/inability to turn against the Count.
Gokushufudou Househusband Manga: I'm going for himbo in love vibes, so anything that creates misunderstandings, strong men pining for one another.
I think this would be a fun fandom to mix with like an Ouran High School Host Club.
Yakuza members like Tatsu, Torajirou, Tatsu's old boss, get dragged into the mix and have to act as "proper" hosts for the girlbosses like Miku, Torajirou's sister, Torii.
Tintin: God I love Tintin and Haddock so much, and I guess they've technically done this during Shooting Star. but I'd love to mix Tintin and Haddock with The Terror. Stranded in ice, Haddock told Tintin this was too dangerous of a mission but Tintin won the argument, and now they're stuck... with some other random NPC passengers who get eaten. Tintin and Haddock confronting their relationship, not wanting to die.. Being out in the sea, how it makes Haddock introspective. Desperate love confessions, feelings realization..
For something more light hearted, I'd love to mix Tintin and Haddock with Kokoro Connect. Some bodyswapping shenanigans, what if Calculus created some sort of invention and acidentally they swapped bodies. I love the bodyswap/clothing swap/sharing clothes trope with Tintin and Haddock so I feel like this could pair well. Tintin realizing how strong and manly Haddock is, seeing his hairy muscular body and expecting himself, and realizing the size difference between he and him in reality.
Taskmaster RPF: Would love to see Alex/Rhod/Greg on a different reality show... somewhere they can all be crazy but around people who have NO IDEA what their dynamic is like because to them, they're just three crazy British guys. Actually, now that I think about it, I would love to fuse Alex/Rhod/Greg into the Top Gun universe. I just think them as fighters pilots would be so... amazing.

Nan Quest - Weaver
- I'd love to see fanart drawn in the style of Sonic SatAM! Sonic SatAM is dark for a kids' cartoon so its look (especially the moodier tone of the first season) would fit perfectly with Nanquest. Optional of course, just an awesome idea I had in mind.
- Panel redraws are welcomed and encouraged, since Weaver's simple yet atmospheric art style lends itself to all sorts of interpretations. Here's a few of my favorites as examples. :)
- Human versions of the Nanquest cast is always fun. Feel free to experiment with different animal versions of characters whose species are more ambiguous, like Pablo and Lorenzo.
Super Mario RPG
- The whole gang playing with Gaz
- The party cheering on Mario as he fights Johnny Jones
- Geno looking contemplative and melancholy as the gang looks for the Star Piece in the wreckage of Star Hill.
General Prompts

Important Notes:
- Please let characters have body hair, especially if it's canonical (Ex. Brad and Terry from LISA). Also let fat/chubby/muscular characters stay fat/chubby/muscular. :) (Ex. Mario from Super Mario RPG for fat/chubby, Abella from Fear & Hunger 2 for muscular)
- When drawing smut, be sure to keep everybody at realistic proportions! It's okay if someone has slightly larger body parts, just not if they're so astronomical they'd struggle to fit inside an empty football stadium. XD
- LISA-specific: Please keep Rando's facial disfigurement, unless he's drawn as a child pre-dojo destruction. He can also wear a prosthetic (like the red skull he wears in canon) if you choose.
- Nanquest-specific: Don't forget Lorenzo's face scar! Likewise, I want Henry to retain any scars (and the blindness he got in his eye) he got from Nan post-death.

Or, maybe his wife is not the sole problem, maybe Jerry is at least as complicit, and he's good at playing the martyr and having lots of affairs ("my wife doesn't understand me!"). How does Charlotte find out and what does she do about it? Or, maybe Charlotte doesn't go home to her mother after the cruise, maybe she lives with Lisa or gets a job and an apartment of her own. Or, maybe her mom throws her out for being too independent. Or, what would have happened if her father had left her money like he did her brothers, instead of trusting her mother to take care of her? What would financial independence have meant for her all these years? Or, Charlotte gets pregnant during the interlude in Rio. What does she do? Does she tell Jerry, or raise the baby completely by herself, or have an abortion?

Prompts: As usual with Janelle Monae's work, the worldbuilding is GORGEOUS and I would LOVE something that explored it. The underground subculture that they're part of has so much richness to it. And, like, where's the money for those amazing outfits coming from? What do they do BESIDES hang out and party and be queer and subversive? Is this a post-scarcity world where everyone has a universal basic income? If there's such uber-tight control over society, how does the Pynk rest-inn stay in business? Is the tight social control universal, or only in some places? Could Jane and Zen have stayed in Pynk, but only if they were willing to never see Che again? Is Zen some kind of religious leader, and if so, how does that fit into everything? The Cleaners were some kind of hellish concatenation of bureaucracy and religion, how does that work and how does the religious part of it affect Jane and Zen's experiences? What was it like for Jane and Zen in there OUTSIDE of the cleaning? Are there lasting repercussions of the nevermind, physically or neurologically (how does disability affect things in this world)? Or you could do future-fic where they're political activists working to subvert the system. Or you could just do happy poly threesome!
Dirty Computer focuses far more on queer themes than on racial themes than Janelle's previous work, but there are still racial themes present. It can't be an accident that the people running the cleaning (both the cleaners and the mother superior) were white, and the three victims we saw were black. It hearkens back to all the times white people have decided that people of color were dangerous and subhuman and evil and needed to be made more like the white people. The destruction of memories was a literal version of things white culture has metaphorically been trying to do for centuries. The renaming, the "it's for your own good," all of it.
I love the songs of this album. Django Jane and I Like That are my favorites, but Screwed and Pynk are also awesome and I love the lush, lyrical way they feed into one another, the visuals and the lyrics and the beat together. I also love the themes: love, and being true to yourself, and at the end refusing both to give in and to respond violently. Please, please, please, give some sort of a happy ending. Like, you don't have to magically wave a magic wand and make all the screwed up things of this society go away, but I want the three to end up happy together.
If you delve into the religious aspects, the cleaners and Virgin Victoria are modeled on the worst parts of Christianity, and Jane and Zen's religious/spiritual stuff should be distinct and different.

Prompts: Things that I would love (pick any, all, or none as you like): something exploring Tauron culture, and culture clashes thereof. We know all about Joseph and Sam Adama's delicate relationship with their homeland, and a little bit about the first William Adama's relationship with all things Tauron, but not much about Tamara and Tauron, and not even that much about her relationship with her family. Going deeper there would be really interesting. Also! Cylons! I want to know what happens with the Cylons! We know (basically) what happened with Lacy and Zoe after the show ended, and their interaction with Cylons, but Tamara didn't get a new body and she didn't become the Reverend Mother, so what happened to her? Was she still around during the Cylon War, and if so what was her role? Was she still there, a ghost in the machine, when the Final Five showed up? What was her role in the Cylon culture? Not to mention, what does she think of her Dad and his new family? If you wanted to do something about her and Bill Adama from BSG meeting--particularly in some kind of complicated plot involving the Rebel Cylons and the Final Five--that would probably not be in the spirit of Yuletide but I would not complain. At all.

Prompts: This is the queer poly family I didn't know I needed. The larger plots of the show are okay, but my favorite part is the stuff of Ye Zhao, Zhao Yujin, and the three concubines together as a family. I headcanon Ye Zhao as bi/pan, and possibly genderfluid in some way. I love the idea of her and the Prince sharing the concubines (but only if the concubines are okay with the idea.) If you happen to know enough about queerness in pre-19th Century China to feel comfortable writing it, I would be thrilled if historical details got brought in. I'm also interested in the way the household is adapting its ideas of gender/status and roles within the household (is Concubine Yang fulfilling some of the household roles that the wife would normally do, because Ye Zhao is occupied with her military duties?) But I would also just love general slice-of-life stuff with them as a household and learning about each other and caring for one another. I'd love to see Ye Zhao and Yang and Xuan'er and Mianning becoming friends. Or you could have an AU where Ye Zhao marries Hu Qing and they are very happy together and just really good friends with the Prince and the concubines. (I love Hu Qing and like him far more for Ye Zhao than I like her with the Prince, but then I don't get her wonderful dynamic with the concubines, and I do appreciate how Ye Zhao and Zhao Yujin grow together and learn to trust one another over the course of the series.)
I like the Prince, but I also find his petulance and immaturity a bit annoying, and I like him most when he is growing and becoming more responsible and considerate.
Now, the thing about this story is that canon depends on Ye Zhao sexually harassing the Prince to get him to accept her as his wife and sleep with her. And that's pretty gross, especially as canon doesn't condemn it, just treats it as funny because it's a woman doing it. And I would be fine with a story that just pretended that aspect of things didn't happen and everyone had full consent for everything; I would be fine with a story that went AU and got them together some other way; I would be fine with a story that dealt with the fact that what she did was not okay and she learns that. I would *not* want a fic with canon-typical levels of sexual harassment.

We Are A Picturesque Small Town And We Refuse To Be The Setting For Your RomCom - Rachel McKenny

Prompts: For the historical fiction canons I'm requesting, I'm a massive art history nerd who would be particularly delighted by any riffing on replicating (or appearing to replicate) art techniques associated with the historical setting - e.g. roman-style mosaics, ceramics, frescoes, graffiti, etc. for Cry Havoc!; for Trice Forgotten, the show creator Nemo Martin has a public Pinterest of inspiration (this would also be a fun one for spoofing scientific illustrations, age of sail everything, cartography, you name it!).
Nine Worlds and Emelan are both drawing on historical details but not directly replicating them. Both also have a reverence for traditional crafts of various kinds, as well as more contemporary takes on those living traditions can be now. I'd be particularly interested in any art that leans into some aspect of a craft practiced or loved by one of my requested characters, but how you define that is very much up to you, and if you feel more inspired by something in the worldbuilding, please go for that instead.
For Scarlet Hollow, gosh, I'm such a fan of Abby's art style. This might be a particularly fun canon to do a little comic for? Or to take some of the canonical art and do a transformative work remixing it in some fashion. I've also really enjoyed the AU merch art that imagines various characters into alternate genre scenes.
For Picturesque Small Town, I'd love fake promotional postcards or movie posters (or fake National Park Posters, themselves parodying old WPA posters) parodying existing movies or tropes with references to the canon, itself a skillful meta parody of various romantic tropes from movies and books. It could also be fun to do something Americana-style with what the various named shops' shopfronts might look like.
