Romance Novels in the 2021 Tagset
I've taken the liberty of compiling a list of all romance novels in the tagset. To my count, there are 65 this year!
I've listed them by author (alphabetically, and then again alphabetically by title), as well as the link to the novel (or series) on goodreads, and, if possible, a link to read for free online (I looked at Project Gutenberg and also archive.org, which is a virtual library), and the bookshop.org link to purchase. Some may not have any links, but if you know of any for those missing, please let me know!
By no means am I infallible, so I may well have missed some (or included some that are not, in fact, romance novels), so please let me know if you see any errors or omissions! I intentionally did not include YA or works that are purely erotica without any romance aspect.
The Romance Writers of America genre definition is:
Entries must be a work of original Romance Fiction. In order to be defined as a romance, all entries must have the following:
A Central Love Story: The main plot centers around individuals falling in love and struggling to make the relationship work. A writer can include as many subplots as he/she wants as long as the love story is the main focus of the novel.
An Emotionally Satisfying and Optimistic Ending: In a romance, the lovers who risk and struggle for each other and their relationship are rewarded with emotional justice and unconditional love.
I've included Jane Austen's works separately at the end :)

Not a romance novel/series per se, but very much romance-novel-adjacent, and therefore possibly of interest:
The third of the four books in the series, Die for Love, features college librarian Jacqueline attending a romance writers' conference (on one hand Peters is very much skewering the genre's tropes, but OTOH she executes the skewering very well, and the professional aspects of the industry are portrayed reasonably accurately for the pre-Internet era). By the end of the book she's begun a romance novel of her own, and by the time of the fourth book, Naked Once More, Jacqueline is herself a bestselling romance author (which figures into the plot, concerning the sequel to a legendary romantic novel whose author vanished after its publication).

Hazard by Georgette Heyer can be found in 2 short story compilations - 'Snowdrift' (the newer collection, so this is the one in stock on bookshop.org here) and 'Pistols for Two' (this collection is older so there's a copy on Archive.org here but there is still a listing for it on bookshop).
