2021 Yuletide Promo Post

Welcome to the Fandom Promo post, everyone!
Here's where you get those eyes on your fandoms for sign ups!
Share what makes your Yuletide fandoms the shiniest and why you love them. A big part of Yuletide is how small our fandoms can be, and this is a good way to make sure other people know what gems there are out there!
Suggested form to use:
FANDOM NAME:
WHAT MAKES IT GREAT:
WHERE CAN I FIND IT (optional):
(Bonus optional: What are you thinking of requesting for this?)
EDIT:
Useful tips (Not required, but helps people if they want to engage with your fandom!):
- Mention what form of media the canon is. Is it a comic miniseries? Is it a twenty season tv show? Is it a book? Is it a twitter feed?
- Is it standalone or part of a series?
- It's best to make each fandom its own entry with its own title in the subject line! That makes it easier for people to find/see what you're promoting! Don't worry about 'spam', that is the entire point of this entry and you're using it exactly as intended.
For reference, last year's promo post!
Yono and the Celestial Elephants (video game)
WHAT MAKES IT GREAT:
Trailer
It is an adorable video game where you play an elephant born from a star and have to solve puzzles. The puzzles aren't very difficult, some are very easy but others just challenging enough to be interesting. It's quite short – it took me about 7.5 hours to finish the main storyline, and about another hour for some side quests. And there are still some outfits I want to try out (I did already get the Darth Maul one.)
I especially love the worldbuilding. There is the human kingdom, but there are also the undead Bonewights from the Sundergarden, and the robotic Mekani mostly living in the city of Freehaven. And the human queen is not in favor of sharing power…
Poor Yono only just came into this world and has very little idea of what he should do so he starts helping people, but the difficult political situation makes things complicated. As put by the Tumblr post that convinced me to play, "sometimes this game is about a floppy elephant traveling the world and sometimes it’s an existential debate about the nature of life"
Overall this is a warm game and I love that, but there is also a lot of potential for angst. I nominated Yono and worldbuilding, and I'm planning to request worldbuilding focusing on politics and potentially AUs and angst/comfort.
WHERE CAN I FIND IT (optional): On Steam, itch.io, and probably other places you get video games.
