2021 Yuletide Promo Post

Welcome to the Fandom Promo post, everyone!
Here's where you get those eyes on your fandoms for sign ups!
Share what makes your Yuletide fandoms the shiniest and why you love them. A big part of Yuletide is how small our fandoms can be, and this is a good way to make sure other people know what gems there are out there!
Suggested form to use:
FANDOM NAME:
WHAT MAKES IT GREAT:
WHERE CAN I FIND IT (optional):
(Bonus optional: What are you thinking of requesting for this?)
EDIT:
Useful tips (Not required, but helps people if they want to engage with your fandom!):
- Mention what form of media the canon is. Is it a comic miniseries? Is it a twenty season tv show? Is it a book? Is it a twitter feed?
- Is it standalone or part of a series?
- It's best to make each fandom its own entry with its own title in the subject line! That makes it easier for people to find/see what you're promoting! Don't worry about 'spam', that is the entire point of this entry and you're using it exactly as intended.
For reference, last year's promo post!

WHAT MAKES IT GREAT: On December 4, 2020, author, advice columnist (¡Hola Papi!, and prolific Twitter user JP Brammer wrote a newsletter that ranked 5 films about rats. These films were entirely constructs of his imagination and do not exist in the world. The newsletter provides plot details and critique of each film.
There's Ratz, "a film that set out to be a fun, tongue-in-cheek critique on how we market products to young girls but got tampered with along the way. It’s Bratz, but instead of humans the girls are rats." And ¡Ándele!, a "gritty, live action Speedy Gonzales movie nobody wanted." And Rat Girl, "a movie about a girl living in New York City and she has a long rat tail...a dimly lit slice-of-life movie about a millennial girl living a relatively normal life in Brooklyn." These are all genius and hilarious, but I've specifically nominated the final two films in the collection: Legends of the Great Below and Gym Rat.
Legends of the Great Below is a fake rat movie that sounds charming and delightful and I'm angry it doesn't exist. It features rats living below a real-world metropolis ("the above place"), and living fantastical, sword-wielding lives at that. There's an awesome girl rat who wants to become a knight like her dad, and family drama, and at least one awesome British rat played by a "powerhouse like Ian McKellen or Ewan McGregor." It's a film about letting go of narratives that hold us back and finding our own truth. It has a mead hall. And "the coloring book slaps." It's a film that I very much wish existed in real life.
Gym Rat is...oh god how do I even describe this? A heartwarming bro comedy about an insecure rat named Jim who sees a flyer for a human gym and thinks that getting shredded will solve his problems. He forges a relationship with Vinny from Jersey Shore, who agrees to train him, but then they become actual friends...and maybe more?! HOMOEROTIC BRO TENSION...IN A FAKE RAT MOVIE...BETWEEN A RAT NAMED JIM AND VINNY FROM JERSEY SHORE. Is this not a thing of beauty?
