2021 Yuletide Promo Post

Welcome to the Fandom Promo post, everyone!
Here's where you get those eyes on your fandoms for sign ups!
Share what makes your Yuletide fandoms the shiniest and why you love them. A big part of Yuletide is how small our fandoms can be, and this is a good way to make sure other people know what gems there are out there!
Suggested form to use:
FANDOM NAME:
WHAT MAKES IT GREAT:
WHERE CAN I FIND IT (optional):
(Bonus optional: What are you thinking of requesting for this?)
EDIT:
Useful tips (Not required, but helps people if they want to engage with your fandom!):
- Mention what form of media the canon is. Is it a comic miniseries? Is it a twenty season tv show? Is it a book? Is it a twitter feed?
- Is it standalone or part of a series?
- It's best to make each fandom its own entry with its own title in the subject line! That makes it easier for people to find/see what you're promoting! Don't worry about 'spam', that is the entire point of this entry and you're using it exactly as intended.
For reference, last year's promo post!
We Are Lady Parts - TV show
WHAT MAKES IT GREAT:
We Are Lady Parts is a six-episode comedy TV series about an all-girl, Muslim punk-rock band. Episodes are 20 mins so it would take you about 2 hours to watch it all. They do play songs but only about 7 over the course of the show, so it's not particularly musical-like.
It follows Amina as she becomes part of Lady Parts while navigating her crippling stage-fright, working on her PhD in microbiology, and helping with her best friend's wedding preparations. This show was so pitch-perfect and hilarious and I thought Amina was a superbly (if sometimes cringe-ly) relatable character.
Highlights:
They all go out to a field and dance around a bonfire for some reason???
All of the women in the band have complicated lives outside of the band and none of them are caricatures/stereotypes of Muslim women.
A song called "Voldemort Under My Headscarf."
Amina sings "Creep" by Radiohead in a cafeteria, in her internal monologue.
I, personally, adore this because Saira and Amina are SO my favourite dynamic of "flippant-to-cover-up-emotional-damage" (Saira) and "doesn't-know-she's-gay-until-she's-fallen-way-too-hard" (Amina).
If you liked Girls 5Eva, Derry Girls, or other female-focused 20-min comedies, you'll probably like Lady Parts.

WHERE CAN I FIND IT (optional): Channel 4+ in Britain or Peacock in the US or elsewhere (free 7 day trial).
What am I thinking of requesting for this? Femslash with Saira and Amina, exploring some loose ends from the last episode, comedy, character dynamics!

I'm trying to think of other characters - Momtaz and Bisma for sure, but maybe Abdullah and Noor?
