2020 Nomination Coordination Station

WARNING: This Is Not Where You Nominate, Only Coordinate

To nominate fandoms and characters, see the admin DW. This is just a place where people declare what they have nominated, or ask other people to nominate for them. So if you do comment and/or add your nominations to the spreadsheet, that's great, because it helps other people decide what to nominate, but it WILL NOT result in your fandoms & characters being in the tagset. The only place to nominate is the Yuletide tagset.

Nominations will run September 22-October 1. Nominations will be approved after that. You can nominate up to 3 fandoms and up to 4 characters in each fandom. See what is eligible for nomination at the admin DW.

 

Before tags are approved some time after October 1, you can only see your own nominations. You can use the comments on this post and a google spreadsheet to coordinate nominations with others.

A nomination is something you plan to nominate. A request is something you're hoping someone else will nominate for you, because you ran out of slots.

Help Wanted

I don't know how many comments will need to be added by volunteers to the spreadsheet, but there could be quite a few. And if you're willing to help, add the data from a comment to the spreadsheet and then reply "added to spreadsheet" or something similar. Thanks so much! Having only one person do it would be awful, but many hands makes light work. <3

notes: Sitenote: tried to nominate Persephone, Hades, and Eurydice, but they were already nominated according to the error message. Didn't see it here but v. possible I missed it.

excuse my sticking my nose in, I just want to make sure you get the characters you want! when you tried to nominate Persephone, Hades and Eurydice, did the error message tell you they were already nominated in a different fandom? because in that case it was probably for some subset of Greek mythology, not for Hadestown. you'll still be able to nominate them, you just need a disambiguation so it's not identical to the tag in a different fandom - e.g., "Persephone (Hadestown)" rather than just "Persephone".

ETA: to be more specific, this is the error I got for each of those names:

"Someone else has already nominated the tag Persephone (Hadestown) for this set but in fandom Hadestown. (All nominations have to be unique for the approval process to work.) Try making your nomination more specific, for instance tacking on (Hadestown - Mitchell)."

So I think for whatever reason, the other person didn't use the canonical tag? There is only one Hadestown so far as I am aware?

And I'd always rather someone double check in than have messed things up! :)
