Two for One 2019 (aka The Crossover Challenge)
Hello Yuletiders! Two for One is an annual sub-challenge to help people who like crossovers and fusions find one another's requests.
To participate, simply copy-paste the following into a comment:

One of the fandoms in each pairing must be one you are requesting for Yuletide, but the other doesn’t have to be. It doesn’t even have to be in the tagset at all!
Some clarification about crossover types:
• Crossovers tend to involve Fandom A's characters interacting with Fandom B's characters or worldbuilding, with everyone retaining their canon backgrounds. Ex. James Bond and Batman team up to defeat a villain, or Harry Potter falls into a portal that takes him to Westeros.
• Fusions tend to be AUs in which Fandom A's characters have always existed in Fandom B's setting instead of their own. Ex. Merlin was born in a galaxy far, far away, discovers that he has the Force, and serves a space prince named Arthur. (A fic like this in which Star Wars characters also appear would be a hybrid between a fusion and crossover.)

Potential Fandom Combinations: Children of the Star/Star Child
Prompts: Not only do they both have similar titles and character names (Taya versus Talyra!) but they also have funny takes on "a few technologically advanced survivors of a cataclysm try to preserve learning and science, everyone else is kind of ignorant and confused," and intriguing themes about the relationship between science and religion. So I think it'd be fun to see how either group of characters deal with each other('s worlds).
