2019 Nomination Coordination Station

For Yuletide, you can nominate up to 3 fandoms and up to 4 characters in each fandom. See what you can nominate at the admin LJ or DW.

 

Nominations will run October 2-11. Nominations will be approved after that. 

 

Before tags are approved, you can only see your own nominations. You can use the comments on this post and a google spreadsheet to coordinate nominations with others.

To let other people know what you're nominating, and/or to request that other people nominate something for you, please copy and paste the information below to comment on this post. Every item is optional except fandom.

A nomination is something you plan to nominate. A request is something you're hoping someone else will nominate for you, because you ran out of slots.

[edited] I don't know how many comments will need to be added by volunteers to the spreadsheet, but there could be quite a few. And if you're willing to help, add the data from a comment to the spreadsheet and then reply "added to spreadsheet" or something similar. Thanks so much! And huge shoutout to [Bad username or unknown identity: elen_nare,] Quin, and labellementeuse for helping add several people's nominations to the coordination spreadsheet! Having one person do it would be awful, but many hands makes light work.

This is super sad.

I think MASH should be one of those that is Vintage Yuletide...the only reason it has gone iver the limit is BECAUSE of Yuletide. 😢😢

What is Vintage Yuletide?

I think of "Vintage Yuletide" (a term I just coined...but that really should be "Legacy Yuletide") as "things that have always been Big Yuletide Things" ...like M*A*S*H, Narnia, Good Omens, Discworld... that kind of thing.

Several of the things that were steadily large staples of Yuletide have literally become ineligible BECAUSE of the number of stories that were written FOR these fandoms IN Yuletide. :-)

The mods have in the past allowed some “ineligible” fandoms because of this very reason. The Pretender, for example. This is why I suggested the nominator discussing with the mods before ruling it out.
