Yuletide reveal and recs!

Yuletide is open! I find it easiest to just go through the fandoms here: http://archiveofourown.org/collections/yuletide2009/fandoms (also less strain on the servers than filtering the /works page) and pick those I am familiar with. Yuletide Madness will be revealed tomorrow, I think.

I know a lot of people write recommendation lists for Yuletide and they are not allowed over at the LJ community (they have 2,000 members, after all). But since we have less, I think we can allow those to be posted here :)

Having dutifully and delightfully reviewed the ones written for me, I'm off to tackle the archive.

As for recs, I'll link here, and I am pretty certain one official post will be put up where you can link your recs on the LJ side of things, if I remember right.

Heh, I am still a bit confused by the rec'ing process, as there was an admin post that read to me like recs shouldn't be posted to the main LJ comm, but maybe it also just meant posts with only one rec.

I'm trying to decide if I want to go straight through, numerals to z, or alternate. Finishing Numerals and As now, then maybe switch to Z? +grins+ So much fun, and trying to comment to all the ones I read! I am SO GLAD they got the bookmark function working for this.

I'm pretty sure they just don't want people posting the single rec posts (usually the 'look at the wonderful gift Anon wrote for me'-type of thing) and that general/multi recs posts are still welcome. But I don't actually follow the yuletide comm on LJ anymore (too much wangst *g*) so I might have that wrong.
