Do you want to write femslash for Yuletide? Have you combed through the letters, but have no idea who these characters are, why you might like them, and if the potential recipient is looking for the tropey femslash fic of your shared dreams? Here's your post! 

 

Femslash Festivus is a collection post for femslash requests that you are making for Yuletide. Posting here doesn't obligate you to do anything, but it helps other femslashers find you and treat you. 

Posting requirements: 

• Your request centers around a femslash pairing or poly arrangement involving at least two characters who identify as female in the canon. The femslash pairing can't just be a smaller part of a long dudeslash prompt. 
• I'm not going around the post policing whether or not your letters are femslash-y enough, but please be considerate and do not ask for genderbent versions of male characters in canon, e.g. asking for always-a-girl!Conan the Barbarian paired with Valeria. 

 

What you must include:

• Your AO3 name
• All the fandoms where you are making femslash requests, with characters mentioned (so if you are only asking for gen in one fandom, don't list that one) 
• If you are asking for femslash in a fandom where you requested no characters because you wanted worldbuilding or OCs, this is perfectly fine! Just make sure you talk up the kind of pairings you'd want to receive in your post. 

What you should probably include: 

• Links to your letter or copy/pasted requests
• A brief description of your ship, if you think it's unfamiliar to most people
• If you're open to receiving porn for Festivus, note it. 

You are welcome to tag the fics inspired by this post with 'Femslash Festivus.' I also recommend tagging your work with the Misses Clause Challenge, though Femslash Festivus is a separate thing.

Force of Will (Card Game), Fiethsing, Zero (Force of Will): A pair of women who've known each other for hundreds of years, at least a thousand. One claims to be human, though she's really a vampire unbeknownst to all and even herself. Serious, business-like, and prone to fretting and worst case scenario thinking. She's often a bit of a downer though she's not joyless. She's just cynical after the years and worried for the world. The other's an elf. Whimsical, cocky, and optimistic to a fault. She's lazy like a cat and does things as she wills just like a cat. 'The wind is freedom, no matter where!' is her life's motto after all. Together they've defended the world from world ending disaster to world ending disaster, and together they've raised a daughter. They bicker quite a bit and often disagree, but they're very close to one another and trust each other. Zero might find Fieth's endless optimism a bit exasperating at times, but it helps keep her spirits up for example. Whatever happens they are each other's most important partner.

Sword Art Oneline Alternative: Gun Gale Online, Karen Kohiruimaki/LLENN, Elza Kanzaki/Pitohui: An unethical sadist has met her match in a woman so brutal in online combat that even she fears her. The other is only just now coming to know the thrill of combat and causing pain. One is a pop star, the other adores that pop star. The one's finally found someone she's willing to be a masochist for. The other is thoroughly distressed by this whole thing. They're good friends and hunting buddies online regardless.

Nothing about Karen and Elza's relationship is ok. But that's the fun of it.

One could also do a femslash version of Die Perfekte Diktatur where the narrator and the "friend" are both women. (The singer is male but the the characters in the song have no canon gender as far as I can tell.) I hope that is femslashy enough to request. Any rating would be fine.

I'd really like to get a femslash fic for either the Alpennia series by Heather Rose Jones or Kakegurui (anime/manga).

For Alpennia: This is an f/f fantasy series with a difft femslash couple at the center of each book. I'm requesting Barbara and Margerit, the leads of the first book. They're a bodyguard/bookworm-mistress-who-can-use-magic kind of couple. They're great!

For Kakegurui: This is an anime/manga about a school of rich kids obsessed with gambling. The lead is a gambling addict named Yumeko who loves risk and high stakes. I'm requesting Yumeko, Mary, Yumemi, and Suzui. For femslash ships I'd love to see Yumeko with Yumemi (a cute idol character), Yumeko with Mary (her rival/eventual companion who is also a gambling bitch), or Yumeko/Mary/Suzui (Suzui is a dude so it's not completely femslash but it's still a ship I love).

I'm not against smut in the story but I don't really like PWP. On the other hand, I weirdly like kink without porn or plot, so if that's your kind of thing... I'm also not hugely into fluff. But I have a lot of tropey likes which are all in my letter :)

Camina is Naomi's commanding officer in a semi-military structure, where they disagree but show intense loyalty to each other. I'm 90% certain this ship is actually canon! Tattoos, crises, and zero-g sex, anyone?

Chrisjen Avasarala &/ Bobbie Draper: Chrisjen is brilliant and ruthless, one of the most powerful politicians on Earth. Staff Sergeant Draper is Martian special forces, and has been rehearsing an attack against Earth since she first joined up. Bobbie essentially defects from Mars after she is betrayed by her own. She works as a body-guard for Chrisjen at one point. I don't necessarily see this as a romantic or sexual pairing, but I'm intrigued by the May-December possibility, and Chrisjen is absolutely willing to use sexual attraction to her advantage. If you'd like to include some aspect of that dynamic, please do!

Jeremiah (TV)
Theo/Erin: In a post-apocalyptic world, Theo is strong, charismatic, and ruthless. She clawed her way to a position of power and was overthrown. Erin is 2nd in command of a far more structured and wealthy installation. I'd love to see Erin try to earn Theo's trust! Since every adult in their world was wiped out by a plague, I'd also like to see them having to figure out their own preferences and kinks from the ground up.

Sahra Guleed/Amanda: Police Constable Guleed, the 'Muslim Ninja' of the London constabulary who helps investigate cases involving magic, and Amanda, the Immortal thief. UST in the interrogation room? Let me explain. No, let me sum up. Diora is a young woman celebrated for her beauty in an extremely patriarchal culture who, driven by a desire to revenge her co-wives when they're murdered in a political coup, maneuvers a second regime change on her own terms. Kiriel is the literal daughter of the devil who is torn between her nature--which wants death, destruction, and despair--and her iron-willed desire to never fulfill her father's plans for her (a complex scheme that would allow him to take over the mortal plane). By the end of the series, they've become friends. I am open to femgen fic about them but I have also been itching for years for a dark femslash AU where Kiriel finally goes full on Queen of the Darkness. Or, you know, if you have another femslash idea in mind for them, feel free.

Also, I don't think of it as femslash, but I am requesting Colette (2018) - Gabrielle Colette/Mathilde "Missy" de Morny (links go to the Wikipedia pages for the real people the biopic is portraying). I interpret Missy as nonbinary in the context of the movie. Other people might interpret the character as a trans man or as a butch lesbian. Historians' opinions on the gender identity of the historical Missy vary wildly.

for the last fandom: Katarina is the main character and as the title suggests, is reincarnated into an otome (Dating sim) game but not as the heroine, as the villainess. She reincarnates as an 8 year old, while the game takes place when she's older - Mary is one of the heroine's rival characters, and falls in love with Katarina when she's younger because Katarina befriends her - to the point where she wants to kidnap Katarina and run away from their obligations - both of them being the two princes' fiances, and Maria is the heroine of the otome game and basically Katarina steals all of the other guys' romance events with her and Maria even tells Katarina she's her favorite but to no avail.

They first meet when they’re both romantically interested in the protagonist, but now that neither relationship has worked out, there’s so much room to explore all the things that might unite Margaret and Amanda!

Swingtown: Trina/Susan
Trina and Susan are canonically well on their way to moving from friends with benefits to something more! It’s the 1970s in an East Coast suburb, and after Trina and her husband make it their project to introduce the new neighbors to the swinger lifestyle, the women quickly grow closer while trouble creeps into their marriages. Susan is still in the early stages of exploring her sexuality, but Trina is eager to help, and there are many lovely places this could go in fic.
