I'm quite interested in 5-minute fandoms this year, and inspired by previous posts in this community, I've put together a list of the commercials in this year's tagset, along with short descriptions and links to where you can watch them. Feel free to comment if I've missed any! This category isn't exactly highbrow, but it's a bit of fun.

"Some People Like..." (DirectTV Commercials)

• Ad series set in a strange soft-masochist world.

"Til It's Over" / HomePod - Anderson .Paak/Spike Jonze (Music Video/Apple Ad)
Woman 1 ("Til It's Over"/HomePod), Woman 2 ("Til It's Over"/HomePod)

• A woman comes home from a drab day at work and discovers her ability to bend space through dance.

Allstate Insurance "Mayhem" Commercials
Mayhem (Allstate Insurance)

• Ad series about some sort of trickster God/anthropomorphisation of mayhem ruining people's lives.

Amazon "Alexa Loses Her Voice" Commercial
Brandon (Alexa Loses Her Voice), Hannibal Lecter (Alexa Loses Her Voice), Jessica (Alexa Loses Her Voice)

• Alexa Loses Her Voice and Bezos recruits clueless celebs to fill in for her. In a weird display of self-awareness re:their business practices, one of their hires is Hannibal Lecter Classic.

Charmin Bears (Commercial)

• Ad series about a bear family whose main concern is anal comfort.

Dogs Lost In A Maze That Is Also In Egypt (VitaminWater Ad)

• Dogs Lost In A Maze That Is Also In Egypt.

Heinz Deli Mayo Commercial

• Typical morning in a middle-class British family where Mum is a New York deli guy. This one got litigious!

Las Vegas "Let's Get Married" Commercial

• Two women in love with each other (and Las Vegas) deal with homophobic family.

Nescafé Gold Blend Commercials

• Ad series chronicling the percolating romance of the Gold Blend Couple.

Progressive Insurance "Flo" Commercials
Motorcycle (Progressive), Flo the Progressive Insurance girl, Flobot, Jamie (Progressive)

• Ad series about Flo travelling the world to solve people's insurance woes. Kind of the opposite of Allstate's trickster God.

Sakeru Gum "Long Long Man" Commercials
Chi-chan (Sakeru Gum), Long Long Man (Sakeru Gum), Tooru-san (Sakeru Gum)

• Ad series about a young Sakeru Gum-fanatic couple who are tormented with lust for a sexy older man and his long chewing gum.
