Yulebuilding 2018: Worldbuilding for Yuletide

Greetings, everyone! Yuletide contains multitudes, and a chunk of those multitudes would really like to request worldbuilding. Thus, here is a sub-challenge post for those of us who love worldbuilding, either on the giving or receiving end.

Wayfarers worldbuilding:
What happens to the Factory girls after they turn 12? Where do the girls live when they are too little to be at the Factory? How much do everyday people in the cities know about the slaves on the other side of the world? Is there any movement to end it, even a fringe one? Are there any Factories where there are boys instead of girls? How did they first get the idea to use girls as recycling slaves? Or back further in time, when did the Enhanced first get to this planet and start enhancing themselves, and how did the breach with the rest of humanity/the galaxy happen?

The Laru! I want to know more about them!

How awful did the Martians treat the remaining people on Earth for them to decide to go 'Out. Anywhere else' rather than to Mars? What was it like when the Fleet left Earth? Did anyone stay behind?

Anything else worldbuilding set in this universe!

Imperial Radch:
Everything about life on a Station! There are probably generations of families who have never set their feet on the ground. What is it like for them? How do kids burn off their excess energy? What professions are open to them? Athoek Station was very unhappy before the end of the series. One hopes it will be much happier in the new Ro2S... how does that manifest to the average Station dweller?

Anything about the dragons! Their lives, their loves, the dragons that have had several captains in the same family line - how do they transition? More about dragon culture in North America - being merchants and explorers. More about dragon culture in China - how they get to grow up a little before choosing a human companion.
