The old FAQ says you're technically not allowed to sign up if you're not participating in Yuletide. I have participated in years past, but am aware that with my current workload and mental state, signing up to write a fic in Yuletide this year would basically be signing up to default. Does that mean I have to skip the swaps this year as well?
