I'm nominating the movie Suite Française (and maybe the book, too, if that'll get more interest, being more widely available). It's a 2014 adaptation of an Irene Nemirovsky novel, a love story between a French woman and a Nazi officer in the midst of Nazi occupation of France in WWII. The movie stars Michelle Williams and Matthias Schoenaerts as the lovers, and a stern Kristin Scott Thomas as Williams' mother-in-law. There are THREE stories for the movie and NONE for the book on the AO3, and I really hope this Yuletide will see it changed!

The film is not available on DVD in the U.S., but is in the U.K. in Region 2 format. https://www.amazon.com/Suite-Fran%C3%A7aise-NON-USA-FORMAT-Reg-2/dp/B00UNPX4XM

You may be able to find it online (this YouTube link works at the time of this post: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kXJ851k_RVI)

The novel is on Amazon Kindle and paperback here: https://www.amazon.com/Suite-Fran-aise-Ir-ne-N-mirovsky/dp/1400096278/ref=tmm_pap_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=&sr=
