If you happen to know enough about queerness in pre-19th Century China to feel comfortable writing it, I would be thrilled if historical details got brought in. I'm also interested in the way the household is adapting its ideas of gender/status and roles within the household (is Concubine Yang fulfilling some of the household roles that the wife would normally do, because Ye Zhao is occupied with her military duties?) But I would also just love general slice-of-life stuff with them as a household and learning about each other and caring for one another. The Cleaners were some kind of hellish concatenation of bureaucracy and religion, how does that work and how does the religious part of it affect Jane and Zen's experiences? What was it like for Jane and Zen in there OUTSIDE of the cleaning? Are there lasting repercussions of the nevermind, physically or neurologically (how does disability affect things in this world)? Or you could do future-fic where they're political activists working to subvert the system. Or you could just do happy poly threesome!

- Rook & Rose – M. A. Carrick: As long as the focus is on Vargo, I'm up for pretty much any kind of story! Post-canon story of his adventures in politics and teaching his new heir to do magic. More literal adventures of him helping Ren & Grey deal with corruption in the city. Vargo getting BETTER REVENGE ON ALSIUS' EVIL RELATIVES. What-ifs like "what would have happened if Vargo found a way to get Ren's "mother" out of the city before she had a chance to ruin Ren's con?" Internal conflicts re: Vargo having to face up to the fact that some people like him. Also, with Vargo being such a sexual person in canon, he is a great candidate for a more explicit story with any of groupings I've suggested ;D

Dread Weight (Video Game) - Kurt/Dimitri/Protagonist

I can't not see this as 50 shades of fucked-up, possibly including things like noncon, mind control, torture, and probably other dark things. Powerplay with Kurt having a hold over both Dimitri and Protagonist, or punishing them, or an unbalanced V-shape thing where Kurt prefers one over the other but keeps both around anyway just to be cruel. (Love seeing Kurt being cruel!)

Prompts!: The other “lighter side” is their interpersonal relationships. Richard often feels what Craig is feeling physically and vice versa. What does that do with consent issues? How do they develop blocks from each other when at least part of their powers seems to derive from their shared knowledge and interactions. I could see them as an OT3. And setting up their living arrangements, etc. plus keeping the relationship from their boss, Tremayne, could be played as tragedy or, preferably, farce.

I've also indicated that their organization, Nemesis, is similar to UNCLE. If someone wants to include Illya or Napoleon, I would not object.

Ravenous: that weird dynamic where the three of them are alone in the fort at the end of the movie, but spicier. Fascinated what the sexual dynamics would be--Hart and Boyd are more comfortable around each other, Boyd is terrified of Ives but also conflictedly attracted to him and Ives is maniacally trying to seduce him (into cannibalism but also the regular kind of seduction perhaps), Hart is vaguely loyal to Ives but willing to switch sides for Boyd when it comes down to it (something that seems genuinely shocking to Ives.) The drama! The betrayals! The noncon/dubcon potential (Boyd is already being forced to cannibalize his coworkers, what else might Ives push him into from a conviction that he'll enjoy it if he just gets over his silly moral hangups?) I also like the concept of Hart and Boyd having been an item since before Ives showed up, and Ives is excited to be Boyd's first time with another man and thinks he's very innocent then finds out that he and Hart have been having sex this whole time. Just interested in how you think this dynamic would work. You can make it as dark or backstabby as you want, or set it during a period of uneasy truce. DNW Boyd giving in to the cannibalism long term.
GBU: the foe yay is off the charts in this movie. What if the trio are all each other's exes and that's why they're Like That. Specific scenarios:
-Tuco is trying to kill Blondie for randomly dumping him in the middle of the desert, so Blondie decides to avoid his wrath with Angel Eyes, another ex he randomly dumped in the desert but who is trying to get him back instead of murder him about it.
-Tuco’s ex Angel Eyes takes one look at the golden-haired angel he’s running with now and goes “Ah yes, you've always had good taste. Can I join?” (…knowing Angel Eyes he might just invite himself into their room without bothering to discuss it)
-Why have an ill-advised hookup with one of your evil exes when you can do both at once? (I'm joking but like, any pov concerning the evil exes, all of them suck!)
-Tuco and Angel Eyes nearly get into a fight to the death over Blondie, who has been having sex with both and is (or at least pretends to be) equally ambivalent about both. He suggests they just both fuck him at once to avoid the drama of having to pick one and piss off the other.
-The 3 are in an evil relationship revolving door with each other where they've all had sex and violently messy breakups and somehow keep ending up back together and someone is going to get murdered one of these days.
-Any scenario that explains why they all know each other and have such weird intense chemistry!
-Blondie gets spitroasted by his frenemies.
Witch King:
-Tahren/Ziede/Tenes: I just really like Ziede and Tenes' relationship and I'm curious how that might develop, why was Tenes so intimidated(?) by Ziede at first? I could see Tahren and Ziede being poly, maybe already in extended poly relationships with other witches at Avagantrum. Get as worldbuild-y and complicated as you want with it.
-Kai/Bashat/Ramad: political intrigue and betrayal polycule!! How is Ramad involved? I know he says he didn't know Kai very well before the main events of the book, canon divergence is fine. Does Bashat start off planning to betray Kai, or does he just take advantage of their relationship later? Was Kai always aware of just how different their political goals were? Does Bashat have Ramad keep an eye on Kai when he's not able to, claim that it's for "protection" (unnecessary) or just companionship when Bashat is busy? Does Kai know it's at least partly so Bashat knows what he's getting up to? Are Bashat and Ramad already in a relationship, or does Ramad have a one-sided fealty crush? Is this relationship a triangle or a V with Kai in the middle? Does Ramad's loyalty to Bashat weaken as he gets to know Kai, or are they on the same page about him per drowning and trapping in an underwater tomb?

If anyone ends up in a relationship with more than one partner or not, that's up to you. I'll be happy even if no one does, I just want to see some of them try (to get with multiple people or to get with someone who is already in an open relationship with someone else).

No doubt it would be super messy, and super complex, and I'm all for it! How do they navigate their established relationships, where John and Dutch are the absolute best of friends, and Khlyen alternates between antagonist, mentor, and straight-up father figure? How does one get from there to intimate partners? Is it a one-time thing (for a purpose, or just because)? Is it the beginning of something more permanent? Does it turn out ok, or is it dark and distressing? I don't know, but I'd love to see it, in whatever way it comes to be.

In terms of sex/intimacy itself, there's a lot that can be done with the characters' relationships to each other, both personally and in terms of their roles as Prince, Seneschal and subject. Who is really in control?

In the book, Judy/Carol/Rhamnetin is canonically romantic/sexual, while Judy/Carol & Athëo/Dinar have formed a co-parenting household that is new and, so far, not romantic/sexual between the two pre-existing pairs. There are a lot of ways this could evolve as the human and alien family members learn to live together!
Prompts!: Mainly, I'm interested in any stories about the family learning to live together, the ways in which different relationships and dynamics form and evolve, and the way their personal experiences may or may not be reflected by their larger cultures. Various people (of all three species) falling in and out of love and/or experimenting together sexually would fit into this beautifully, especially with all the negotiation, mis/communication, relationship work, etc. I'm also a really big fan of metamour dynamics being explored as part of stories about polyamory, and there are so many options inherent already!

It's hard to be too specific with so many intriguing options on the table; Judy and Cytosine have this complex tension and (semi-reluctant) mutual respect, Judy and Carol have begun exploring their connection with Rhamnetin (but there's so much more to do), there's been tension and moments of connection between Judy and her co-parents as well as they learn to be a household which could be built on, Rhamnetin and Glycine are each struggling with some of their own cultural norms and finding intriguing possibilities in human alternatives which could go in all kinds of directions ...! I'm not usually the biggest fan of "go wild" as a prompt, but in this case it seems especially appropriate, you know?

Prompts!: I’d be interested in exploring some kind of semi-clandestine polyamorous arrangement with amusing near-exposure or other shenanigans (because really, a queen isn't supposed to date her chatelaine). I'm most interested in a relatively healthy and functional relationship that is complicated by circumstance, rather than too much angst in the mix.

Some suggestions for less relationship-specific sources of shenanigans that would be fun: Arden messes up (in re: magic, or protocol, or who knows what else) because she's still a little out of practice/kind of grew up in the human world; Walther messes up (something alchemical); Cassandra’s Firstborn abilities do something surprising; the trio is on campus/in the human world ... hijinks ensue.
