Reduced colour palettes are my jam, but b/w or just lineart are also great. Make it fun, fluffy and lighthearted, or dark and emotional - just nothing too graphic (partial nudity, pda or pg-rated violence are okay) in art. AUs are absolutely wonderful, although my DNWs apply here too.
