Wanted tropes: I said in my letter that I enjoyed hurt/comfort with equal amounts of both, but what I absolutely love is when the comfort hurts too. So someone gets hurts and is rescued/saved from the bad situation but then there comes the reveal about what happens to them, and the suffering of their loved ones at knowing the person has been hurt, and then the nightmares and the recovery and the people who don't understand. I love characters having the support of their friends and partners and it helps, but it doesn't make everything make everything okay. Maybe it's someone hurting them, maybe it's an accident, maybe it's nature itself. I like the hurt of the person being injured/attacked and the hurt of their loved one as they witness the attack/hear about it afterwards.
