Approx length: 11 episodes, of which the longest is 25 minutes and the rest are under 20.
Where to find it: On Dropout.tv; a subscription is required, but it's pretty cheap. You can also subscribe to Dropout on YouTube and watch it there.
What is it, in summary?: It's a parody of kids' mech shows like Power Rangers, done with gloriously cardboard-looking practical effects and also real love and attention in the character work.
What do you love about it?: The show uses its short total runtime to go from "one of the Chosen, Destined Pilots is just a party dude who keeps smoking up in his cockpit" to "what is goodness, how do you know, and what would it mean for it to win?" while always maintaining a sure sense of its characters and rock-solid comedy. If you are a fan of any of the College Humor cast, a bunch of the all-stars are here (Mike Trapp, also writing! Brennan Lee Mulligan! Rekha Shankar! Katie Marovitch, stealthily the weirdest person from CH! Raph Chestang! Jess Ross!) and the show really plays to their strengths.
What sort of things are you likely to request for it?: Gosh what a good question. Post-canon fic, probably!
Content warnings (ie, rape, incest, racism, gore/violence): Cartoonish violence, almost always against prop "monsters" or "robots" that resemble living bodies only in the broadest sense.
