AO3 Name:larissabernstein Letter Link:My Letter Fandom(s): Dance of the Vampires (Broadway version 2002/03) - Steinman/Ives/Kunze Character(s): any Languages: Apart from English, I read German, Hebrew, Yiddish, French, Italian - and all fluently enough to enjoy fic. If you want to write me a treat in any of those, I'd be overjoyed! For my main gift, I'd prefer English, German, or Yiddish. Comment: Out of my three requests this year I think Dance of the Vampires would be best suited for fic in languages other than English. (Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em is too British imho to work in any other language, and Condorman's main character is very American.) DOTV's Giovanni von Krolock is polyglot himself (even if we only get to hear his faux Italian accent in the Broadway version), and we can assume that this vampire count travelled the world. I headcanon he is at least fluent in German and Italian. Sarah is certainly fluent in Yiddish and might know a little Hebrew too (though it is probably more for religious purposes, and certainly old-fashioned compared to modern Hebrew). So if you want to have fun with this, please go ahead - I'll love it!
