I ship Anne/Diana and Kit/Ruthie, but also love them as friends. I have a slight preference for f/f for Oregon Trail and Winter Wonderland, but also enjoy het and m/m. Winter Wonderland can be set in any time period--I love the 40s and 50s, but anything in the last 150 years or so is great. I prefer romantic pairings to be 18+.
For Oregon Trail, handholding, sitting by the river, by the dinner fire, snuggling, view from Chimney Rock, etc, or a scene from the game milestones—almost anything goes there. No death scene, no guns. Gravestones okay.
