FANDOM NAME: The Salton Sea WHAT MAKES IT GREAT: This movie has it all -- it's a great tale of revenge, it's got some great action scenes, it's deeply existential and asks some dark questions about the nature of self, the entire cast is "that guy", it's beautifully shot, and it's also pee-pants funny in several places.
And it's also a very sweet love story, and I don't mean our Main Character and his dead wife, I mean our MC and his relationship to Jimmy the Finn, who thinks he's the best person, ever, and they are like just a beer or three (or a few lines of crank and a little privacy) away from doing the bump and grind.
Or, if you want to go to the bad dirty wrong place, crooked cop Gus Morgan really has an unhealthy fixation with our MC, and oh, the places that could go.
