FANDOM NAME: Smith (the 2006 TV show) WHAT MAKES IT GREAT:
Smith is a show about a group of professional thieves who team up to pull a big heist, starring Ray Liotta, Virginia Madsen, Jonny Lee Miller, Simon Baker, Amy Smart, and Shohreh Aghdashloo. It was cancelled after just seven episodes, but what exists works quite fine as a mini-series.
And why am I reccing it? Because it's a really entertaining show, and I say this as someone who usually hates heist plots. And also because HOLY HOMOEROTIC SUBTEXT, BATMAN! Simon Baker and Jonny Lee Miller play Jeff & Tom, the team's logistic expert and resident muscle, and they have the kind of a relationship that slashfic was invented for.
For the record, this is the *first* scene that Tom and Jeff have together. It only gets slashier from here (and their relationship is a major focus on the show, meaning that there's a whole episode where they basically just argue about their living arrangements).
WHERE CAN I FIND IT?(optional):
I don't think this has been available anywhere since it aired ten years ago, but the whole thing can be found on Youtube in hot-so-high definition:
