Hello Yuletiders! Two for One is an annual sub-challenge for people who like crossovers to more easily find one another's requests. The likelihood of anyone knowing both fandoms is small, but you never know!

1. Wayfarers Universe by Becky Chambers x Doctor Who - the TARDIS travels to the future, into the Galactic Commons. (The Exodus Fleet, Port Coriol, Quelin space... lots of places they could go) Any Doctor, any companions (Twelfth and Bill are my faves, but I have high hopes for Thirteenth and gang!)
2. Imperial Radch and Wayfarers Universe - The Republic of Two Systems is looking for trade partners that aren't the Radch and they encounter the Galactic Commons. Imagine the whole 'AI personhood' argument breaking out everywhere when the Galactic Commons realises that the person it is negotiating with IS an AI in a human body.
3. Imperial Radch and Doctor Who - well why not? I can just see any of the Doctors sassing off to Anaander Mianaai.
4. Space Opera by Catherynne M Valente and Wayfarers Universe - The Aeluons are told they must perform in the Galactic Grand Prix in order to avoid annihilation. The only problem is, they don't actually possess the ability to speak naturally, let alone sing! How do they get past this disability to wow the judges and earn their place at the table?
5. Wayfarers Universe and The Lady Astronaut fusion/AU "We destroyed our world and left it for the stars".... what if the space program that Elma York was part of wasn't because of a meteor but because of good old human mistreatment? And what if after Mars was settled, people were left behind on Earth, to build the Exodus fleet or die? What would an ageing Elma and Nathaniel York do in the face of such discrimination? Or any other of the characters from the Lady Astronaut series? "You're putting COWS on this rocket while PEOPLE are left behind? What the actual fuck?!"

Prompts!: I ship Feltson and Dramione, so I'd love to see what would happen if Tom Felton and Emma Watson got trapped in one of the movies as their respective characters. They would logically turn to each other for help, and I would be so interested to see what this would change in HP canon. The Halfblood Prince is my favourite, so this would be great as a potential setting.
(Note: if you should by any chance consider offering this (yay! thank you!!!) note that there is a bug whereby Tom doesn't appear in the drop down menu of characters. But he is in the tagset, so you'd have to copy his tag manually into the list of your offered characters.)

* Final Fantasy V: Final Fantasy crossovers! I'd love to see Gilgamesh dragging Bartz on his dimension hopping, purposefully or not, having adventures in strange new places. What does Bartz think of where the wind has taken him? How does this rank on Gilgamesh's vacation spots? Any of the FF games would work for this, and these two in Kingdom Hearts or even Nier (weapon stories) would also be amazing. Games that would be particularly cool to see: FFIV, IX, X, XII, XV (who's this Gilgamesh joker with only one arm???) Brave Exvius, World of Final Fantasy, Theatrhythm, Mystic Quest, etc. And if the fic isn't a crossover, Gilgamesh just offhandedly mentioning other worlds is also great (because Gilgamesh).
* 20,000 Leagues/Kino's Journey: What if one of the nations Kino visits is a submarine? What would she think of Nemo, and what would Nemo think of her and Hermes? Would she manage to leave in three days? This scenario can leave out Aronnax, and if you manage to make Kino/Nemo work, I'd be extremely intrigued!

FBI/Sue Thomas F.B.Eye: What kind of case might involve the NYC FBI and the Washington D.C. FBI working together?
Cybergeddon/FBI: What would get Chloe to travel to the NYC FBI and meet up with Maggie and Omar? (Bonus points for observations on them looking similar, lol, since it's the same actress for both characters.)
Cybergeddon/Sue Thomas F.B.Eye: What if Chloe from Cybergeddon runs into Tara from Sue Thomas? They're both computer geeks, though I think Chloe has much better tech skills.

- One of the agents from El Ministerio del Tiempo goes to Cuba or Mexico in the 1830s and meets Benjamin January and Co.
- One of the agents from El Ministerio del Tiempo goes to Oxford in the 1960s and meets Endeavour and Co.
- A fusion of Endeavour with any Shakespeare play, similar to their fusions of Lion in Winter and Great Gatsby. Hamlet or Macbeth would make the most sense since they could be murder mysteries, but I’d love any.
- Samantha Barnes from The Bright Sessions runs into any of the people from these other fandoms on her astral travels.

Does Dina consult with Elara from Iron and Magic on magical conundrums? Or does she end up sheltering one of Nevada’s sisters & cousins from the Hidden Legacy books?
3) Letters! Both Guernsey Literary & Inquiry into Death have letters as themes and I'd be thrilled to see characters from these series writing letters to each other. Handwave the timelines a little and insert ghosts and away you go!
4) Modern Vikings/intergalatic warrior and mage Asbjorn & Inghean taking refuge at the Gertrude Hunt by way of Bahachar?

*Go Fug Yourself/Perry Mason, Go Fug Yourself/Sherlock (or Sherlock Holmes), Go Fug Yourself/Peter Wimsey: Princess Anne teams up with your detective of choice! (Modern AUs—or a-couple-decades-ago AUs—are fine since several of these canons are set prior to Anne's birth.)
*Oxford Time Travel/American Girls Molly, Felicity, Addy, or Samantha: One of the girls' descendants becomes a historian and does some unauthorized "genealogy research" (aka time traveling) on their own time?

Prompts!: While writing the Chewie portion of my Captain Marvel prompts, I realized that two of my other fandoms ALSO feature somewhat magical cats, and thought of what a perfect potential crossover that could make.
Can you imagine Chewie from Captain Marvel, Throgmorten from The Chronicles of Chrestomanci and Capo from Space Opera all ending up in the same place?!?
Maybe Chewie's tentacle-distortion of space goes haywire and she ends up at Chrestomanci Castle where Throgmorten discovers that trying to intimidate her is a REALLY bad idea.
What if Chewie ends up at the Metagalactic Grand Prix for some reason. I bet she and Capo would get along like a house on fire, or the cat equivalent at least!
Or, I'd happily take a crossover of Chewie with any other fictional cats. Maybe a five things fic? Or a major galactic threat that only magical cats can stop?

Prompts!: I just think Philadelphia Story is PERFECT for a fandom fusion of some sort. The fandoms above are ones I've read a lot of great fusions with, and which seem like they'd be easy to fit the Philadelphia Story characters into, but I'd be open to a fusion with pretty much any other easily fusionable fandom except Harry Potter. Don't worry about whether or not I'm familiar with the fandom, if it's an easy one to pick up from context, I'm good!

I can see any combination of characters from any of my three contemporary canons having a grand old time talking art and craft. Book club, maybe.
I would also love to see any of those contemporary canon requested characters fusioned into Emelan and still distinctly themselves. (Clara and Danielle seem like ambient mages to me. Cora and Elena, academic. Kim and Zeke, maybe not mages at all, but that needn't make them less significant in the grand scheme of things, of course.) Fusioning any of the Emelan four into the contemporary setting of any of the other three canons would also be grand fun. And hey, there's no rule saying the characters have to be any particular age in the story—look at Elena's family lawyer life goal, and consider the pre-series lives of the Emelan four!

Old Kingdom/Dublin Murder Squad. Rob Ryan could be a Charter Mage who experienced some traumatic brush with death at a young age and acclimated to life in Ancelstierre after he was sent to boarding school on the other side of the wall, and maybe gets along well with Cassie because she isn't completely skeptical about his past. Another thought: doppelgängers are portents of death in some mythology; can this or some other magical element explain Cassie and Lexie?
The Magicians novels/any. I can so easily see the Likeness kids as a tight-knit group of Brakebills students.
It Follows/any. I just find this a great premise for iddy fusions, with the need for intimate contact it creates as well as the sacrificial (or selfish) meaning attached to the sex. But if you mainly want to embrace the horror element, that would be excellent too. If I'm thinking about The Long Walk it makes me wonder how this conflict would translate to the secret being kept to a homosocial group at a boys school or something; I'd also like to see how the creature would fit into the eerie atmosphere of Tana French's novels.
The Bone Clocks/any. I've read every Mitchell novel and any reference to his recurring reincarnation theme is what I'm about. I love the idea of an Anchorite or more likely a Horologist (if you're not changing the manner of death) taking over the body of a character who canonically dies. In any case I'm always glad to see Marinus, wherever they may appear, whether characters around them know about their immortality or not.
